Worst

Unfortunately I had to cur my hot stone appt short, however, the gal was nice but the stones were too hot. Hard to relax when feeling burned. She did quickly remedy the problem.

Unexpected Horror 1/28/2006

In 2004 I gave ReVamp a try, as I had regularly listened to the salon owner speak on a local radio talk show. COMPLETE HORROR. Very substandard manners and class and a serious lack of customer service. I wrote a complaint letter to the salon owner and received no response/acknowledgement! Booooooooooooooooooooo! A ten on the 1-10 rotten tomato meter! Pros: None Cons: Everything more

ReVamp the reVamp 7/9/2005

If you want to throw your $$$ away, just throw down the diposal and save the $5 bucks on parking. This would be your best course of action instead of going to reVamp Spa. The appointment started 45 minutes late. When informing the desk which was well staffed (3 receptionists) the chirpy reply was "Why didn't you tell us you were there? What about his eyesight-is that there? The stylist has a "vision" I'm still wondering what it is and is it flattering? I got Diagonal forward haircut and foils. I could go to Great Clips for this and I think they might even "see" me, too. This isn't what Oraph has in mind. wonderful place 12/26/2004

I love reVamp! salonspa. The staff are friendly. I have Amanda cuts my hair and she is fantastic. My hair always looks wonderful when she is done. And, it still looks good when it is time for another haircut. I won't let anyone else cut my hair. more

Love it! 10/5/2004

Ive never found a hairstylist that I really like going to, but I think I have at ReVamp. These people know what theyre doing. I had Annie who cut and colored my hair. She did such a good job and really listened to what I wanted. Ive told everyone about this place. Even though it is a bit expensive, Id say its worth it, especially in comparison to the other, less friendly, shady salons out there. more

Not what I expected.... 10/1/2004

You'd think by reading their on-line description of the 'Oprah' makeover, you were in for a treat. Well, I wouldn't know as the FIRST mistake they made was booking me for the wrong makeover package. Instead of the Oprah package I made the appointment for, I got the revamp makeover - which included a haircut, color and make-up application/lesson. I spent just over $200. I started with the cut and color. The lady who did my hair was experienced and did a good job; however, I was looking for a 'makeover' and all I really got was a trim. For the color, I had asked for a warm red shade. Funny, I'm still a blonde!! The make-up was truly just an application. All she did was explain what she was doing as she went. Not worth the money. Overall, the makeover packages aren't all they seem or worth the $!! Pros: Not crowded, Polite Staff, Retail Variety Cons: , Not creative, Horrible parking more

Revamp! salonspa 9/26/2004

I have gone to ReVamp for over a year. The atmosphere and employees are all wonderful. I highly recommend Kelly Tack as a stylist. I went to her once and have recommended her to several friends-guys and gals- who are all happy with the results. Kelly is a highly skilled stylist and seems to know just what to do with every individual that sits in her chair. Whether you are looking for a new cut, color and style or just a trim - Revamp is the only place you can find the style that works for every person. Excellent Salon 9/12/2004

I have been going to reVamp! Salon Spa for about a year now and I wouldn't look back. The initial customer service received from Chris and Danielle the moment I walked in the door set a tone that was only further fulfilled by the servies of the staff. For anyone who is looking for a stylist, I would suggest Alyson. In addition, I love the location. I always find a way to make it a trip into uptown and enjoy the other resturants in the area such as Chino, Figilo or Old Chicago. Pros: Location, Asthetics more

Great Salonspa 9/1/2004

I have to say that this is one of the greatest salonspa that I have experienced in my lifetime. The serivde was fantastic and wow, i looked great after the haircut. Love It 8/5/2003

I've been going to revamp for 2 years and have never had a disappointing experience! I've had multiple services - cuts, color, waxing, massage, facials, pedicures, manicures. The staff is always friendly, including the receptionists!!! (Finally a salon with receptionists who aren't snobs!) It's not the cheapest salon out there, but certainly not the most expensive, and it's worth it! Pros: Great Staff, Always on time more

Great Technicians and Atmosphere 7/9/2002

Five friends and I came here for manicures & pedicures. I also had a sunless tan. I've visited a few spas around the Twin Cities and reVamp is among tops for both groups of people and visiting alone. The technicians were friendly and in the case of my sunless tan; knowledgeable about product. The technician spent an extra 1/2 hr. on the sunless tan compared to another spa. The atmosphere is also better than most local spas. All of the treatment areas are grouped by type of treatment; that helps to control noise and make the experience more relaxing.
