Upon my first visit to Mingle, I had Sayuri. She's an amazing stylist. She was very sensitive to my needs and very creative also. I've been living in nyc for 3 years, and it was my first time being happy after I went to hair salon. I will only go to her from now on. I came to Stacia with hair messed up by unflattering highlights and my attempts at home hair color. Undaunted, Stacia sensitively sized up the problems, my desires, and my own coloring. It's rare to see a stylist invest so much creativity and attention to your personal hair situation. I was impressed by Stacia's expertise and ingenuity. She remade my hair to an incredibly natural – only better – color. Stacia really makes you feel that you're her canvas. She's excited about what she's doing and she's a master! I was at the salon a long time and Stacia and everyone at Mingle were sweet, cheerful company, making it a relaxing experience too. Great Salon - Stacia Nicole rocks! 6/16/2010

I have been Stacia's client for a few years now and didn't know what my experience would be like once she moved to Mingle. I was pleasantly surprised by my first experience there. Everyone at Mingle is friendly and nice. I got a great head massage while getting my hair washed. The salon is cozy and quaint - no crazy techno music blasting, no one running around back-and-forth making customers feeling frantic and no crowding. They also offer free bang trims for returning customers which is great for someone who has bangs to trim (like me). Ask for Stacia - she is a world-class stylist and the nicest person. She's meticulous and creative and definitely listens to the clients' requests and concerns. Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, great music more

AMAZING and CREATIVE. I will only go to Stacia from now on. Stacia listens to what it is I want and not only does she do it- but she adds to it. Her ideas are absolutely unique. Gals.....You want a hair cut that when you walk down the street or any place you go you get a compliment just get a hair cut with Sheila, she has been the best hairstylist I have been to in years you will have no regrets at all. Besides of the fact that she does great hair cuts she does great color and most important she listens and does exactly what you ask for. From the second I walked in the salon I was hooked. Everyone is very welcoming. Michio cut my hair. I am not very good at explaining what I want, but he just knew. He is very precise and knows his craft! Sheila colored my hair. Talk about incredible. I like the funkier side of things. She took her time to get to know me and what I wanted. I first went to Danielle at Salon Mingle for color two years ago upon recommendation of a friend, and I've been happily hooked since then. She listens to what I want, my concerns, or my whims and talks me through what will be the right look for me. She's highly competent at her craft (as everyone is at Mingle), but also has a personal touch which makes me feel like I'm a one of a kind piece of her artwork. I followed my wonderful colorist Anu from another well known salon and have been very happy at Mingles. Since my haircutter was still at my former salon, I decided to try someone new. Dawn was highly recommended and found her to be wonderful. Great cut! Great Color! Great place! Who could ask for anything more? Pros: Best Color and Cut from caring stylists. Highest recommendation 3/18/2010

Though I have naturally good hair, I want a great haircut. I haven't been satisfied near my home in NJ and didn't want an overpriced haircut in NYC. I stumbled into Mingle, talked to Yuki and decided to be uncharacteristically impulsive. FANTASTIC haircut! I'm now a regular customer. I like the chic, relaxed atmosphere, not to mention the neck/back massage after my hair is washed. more

My hairstylist is Sayuri and I have been a regular client for a couple of years. I admire her professionalism and her artistic vision. I could not be happier with the results and would highly recommend her ! When I arrive, she takes her time to fully understand the cut I would like and explain to me what we could do moving forward. The best part of her haircut is that after a couple of months, I still get a great comment from my colleagues that I have a nice haircut as if I recently got a haircut. It is very strange but happens every time. This never happened with any other hairstylists in the past. I also like the fact that she takes a pride in coloring as well. Every time, she is very careful of choosing a good color and discuss with me which color I would like to try. I have 100% trust in her and her professionalism. more

after reading all the reviews going back a few months, it seemed to me that Sheila was the person to see for cut and color. I went looking for a total makeover going from brunette to blond and a fresh new cut. My hair feels amazing, she kept it easy for me to style afterwards and I get compliments on my hair all the time.
