med stay was good and easy to deal with, however the hotel was being remodeled and I would not of stayed if I had been informed of this

Will not attempt to use MedStay ever again. 12/16/2012

I attempted to reach Med Stay at the suggestion of Durham Reg. Hosp. However, on each of the three times I called by phone no one answered and, although I left messages requesting a return call, non was received. Since no phone numbers of any of the listed motels were listed, I had to use the phone operator to locate a hotel in the area and made my own reservation -- of course, with NO "Medical Rate." Obviously, I have received no assistance from MedStay. more

I'm very thankful Duke Hospital recommended Medstay when I first had brain surgery in 2008. I've continued to travel from Atlanta for checkup and come up the the day prior. Medstay has taken away the stress of finding a hotel and haggling for the best deal. I'm frugal and rates are important to me along with a clean place to rest. The hotel choices are broad and the rates are very reasonable. Thanks for your service. I would highly recommend your company. more

I have worked with Sam since June, 2011 and have had to make several trips to Duke and he has always made reservations for us in very nice places. We have a little dog, so our choices are limited! I am now looking into long term stay and I don't know what I would do without him. Thank you Sam! more

After 8 1/2 hours of my surgery at Duke Hospital on Dec. 20 and being discharged to Homewood Suites on Dec. 27 to recover, my husband and I welcomed the amenities available. Loved the morning breakfasts and Monday-Thursday dining options since my husband was in charge of feeding me. The operating fireplace was a great comfort to me as I gained strength enough to venture down to the first floor for meals. The beds were very comfortable and all of the service personnel were caring, professional and efficient. Several of our friends stayed at Homewood also and were well pleased with their accommodations. more

Sam and Donna are primarily the ones I talk to, but everyone is wonderful. Sam and Donna and I have spoken enough to where we have been able to establish a rapport and learn a little about each other. I have always been given compassionate, competent advice and service. My reservations are done so easily, whenever I need them, no matter the time of day - - and always with care and positive, nurturing attitudes. Just what you need when medical conditions are such that you need all the help you can get. I will always use MedStay and will and have recommended to others. I spoke with Donna this morning on the phone needing help with our return trip to Duke Hospital, she was so very kind, efficient, and helpful. I truly cannot say enough nice things about her. We come to Duke for our 9 year old daughter and she likes to stay where there is an indoor heated pool, there is a new hotel so we were unsure if they had one or not, Donna called the hotel confirmed with them, made our reservation and called us back all within 5 minutes. Very sweet lady, thank you so much for making a stressful time, less stressful. more

MedStay was awesome. They were so friendly and helpful when making my initial reservation and again when I had to call a few days later with a question. I stayed in a new hotel that had not yet hired a shuttle driver for service to the hospital but the front desk offered to arrange and pay for taxi service in both directions. more

My first two says were with Quality Inn and I'd rate the facility 3 stars. My last stay was with Comfort Inn and I'd rate that facility 2 stars. My next stay will be with Quality Inn. more
