After 8 1/2 hours of my surgery at Duke Hospital on Dec. 20 and being discharged to Homewood Suites on Dec. 27 to recover, my husband and I welcomed the amenities available. Loved the morning breakfasts and Monday-Thursday dining options since my husband was in charge of feeding me. The operating fireplace was a great comfort to me as I gained strength enough to venture down to the first floor for meals. The beds were very comfortable and all of the service personnel were caring, professional and efficient. Several of our friends stayed at Homewood also and were well pleased with their accommodations.
