She did a really good job every one is very nice but when I when to pay the guy charged me for too many nail polishes I payed for two when I only bought one. dont feel like going ...

Heather, Stephanie, and Rachel - 6.20.11 6/21/2011

I had brows by Heather. She's always so attentive...punctual...and upbeat....does a great job every time. I see her almost every 4 weeks. Stephanie Cherry ... my BFF. She keeps me in stiches! Not only is Stephanie entertaining but technically, she is awesome at what she does. She's taken my hair from a washed-out dry, curly frizz, to smooth, sexy, very managable, and vivacious color and style. Now I get compliments on my hair like never before in my lifetime. I love her to death! Did I mention Stephanie is excellent? :) Rachel (I hope I have the name correct) was Stephanie's assistant yesterday. She too was the very best -- from the moment I met her until my departure. Never waivering once during my visit in her desire to make my stay most comfortable. An absolute doll. Thank you for a great visit and service. more

"Better Than Will & Grace-" Stephanie is Hilarious, Creative, Innovative and Professional 6/20/2011

I came in for color correction and was exceptionally pleased with the outcome. The "process" was the best part. Stephanie is " No nonsense, appropriately assertive and just the right amount of support for a neurotic type such as myself. Forget diamonds. An artistic stylist is a girls best friend. Kudos to you Stephanie and your precious assistant. I can't wait to come back. I've never been so relaxed and so entertained at one time. Victor Frankl coined the phrase " the gift is in the struggle." Thank goodness my struggle for the guru of hair color correction is over. Thanks again Stephanie. more

KIM is the best color stylist in the state! Want to keep your natural color or go out on the far side, she can create (and maintain) a color you will be complimented on for weeks at a time. more

Massage with Tad 6/16/2011

The absolute best massage ever!!! I told him I was suffering from a horrid pain in my neck and between my shoulders, he spent mist of the time on my most needed areas! Great pressure and I was walking noticably straiter after my time with Tad. Slept great afterward too! more

I always know that when I go to see Ashley at Utica, I know that I will get great service and great styling tips. Everyone from the front end people to the stylists are friendly and cheerful. It doesn't hurt that Ihloff using Aveda products either! My hair has never looked so good. more

Relaxing and Enjoyable!! 6/16/2011

My trip to Ihloff as always was relaxing and very enjoyable! Mallory is a true artist that truly makes me feel like I am her only client!!! Her treatment of my needs shows her professionalism, but also personal attention to a client's comfort and spa-like experience. My many compliments lead to opportunities to share her expertise with others. She is truly an asset to this salon. Charis also attended to my makeup as a true professional and made me feel special and beautiful as well. Isn't that why we go to a salon? more

Call Center Problems 6/16/2011

I have used the Utica Salon for a few years and never had a problem until the last time I went in. When I called and made my appointment I specifically told the call center that I needed an appointment at least after 5:15 since I work until 5. She seemed very annoyed and unprofessional, but assured me my appointment was at 5:30... that is, until I was driving to my appointment and received a phone call from the front desk at utica saying I was 10 minutes late and I would need to reschedule. The call center had in fact booked me for a 5:15 appointment. I will say the Utica staff worked beautifully to work me in the same evening though! more

Great Experience Every Time 6/13/2011

Every time I have been to Ihoff I have had a great experience. I have stayed with the same stylist, Sunni, for 4 years now when before I was changing stylists all of the time. If I have needed to reschedule or need certain services they are always helpful and answer my questions. They seem to understand what service means unlike most businesses out there these days.... more
