Best

A Chicago landmark and must try if you haven't. Great Italian dishes and deep dish pizza.

Worst

This location was so slow I would have left had it not been raining. It took 90 min. to get one pie. At that, it was lukewarm at best and very average...

Best deep dish 2/13/2004

We just moved to Chicago a few months ago, so we haven't been to ALL the pizza places in this city, but Giordano's deep dish pizza is by far the best pizza we've had yet. It's really flavorful, good ingredients, and very cheezy. We order the deep dish pepperoni, sausage, and onion. Delicious!! We've had the thin crust, it's OK, but the deep dish is the best. There's quite a few locations, so find one nearby and order a deep dish! Pros: Delicious, Good value more

What are they thinking? 12/11/2003

In a city famous for its pizza, it seems incomprehensible that that Giordanos is rated so highly. Positive reviews from pizza deprived suburbanites and tourists? The list of better options in the city require more space that what's provided here. Best advice? Be adventurous, get out of the loop, no matter what you try will be the better option. more

outstandin 12/11/2003

I have been over much of the US, and I love pizza. I taste local pizza everywhere I go. By far Giordano's deep dish pepporini and sausage is the best I have ever had. Next trip to Chicago I will be waiting in line for the next available table to sit down and enjoy a hot, crisp, cheesy pizza. more

Worst Service Ever 12/11/2003

I experienced the worst service of my life at this restaurant, and I'm a pretty easy going person. When I even emailed the next day to their main office I never got a response. :o/ Poor customer service makes even good food worthless. Pros: good food Cons: poor service, poor parking, crowded more

Mersealx4 9/4/2003

I LOVE this pizza! We drove 30 minutes out of our way to get a slice! They need to go nationwide - driving to Chicago for a pizza is a bit extreme! more

This location was so slow I would have left had it not been raining. It took 90 min. to get one pie. At that, it was lukewarm at best and very average... more

Bad 4/28/2003

There is nothing special about this deep dish. If you are into name brand CHicago pizza then Lou Malnoti's and Gino's East are much better. more

Awesome 4/23/2003

I have travelled over lots of the USA and by far Giordano's deep dish pizza is the best!!! I am from North Carolina and have considered ordering pizza from their website. Pros: location, affordable, great service Cons: not outside of Ill more

All around incredible 4/22/2003

My wife and I have tried a number of the pizza places in Chicago and this is hands down our favorite. The crust is perfect...not dry, but also not dripping with excess grease. They have a wonderfully balanced sauce with just the right amount of spice to match the natural flavor of the tomato. There is always an abundance of the toppings and cheese. The service has been great and we love the laid back atmosphere. We recommend Giordano's to everyone we know who is going to visit the city. Pros: Great pizza, inexpensive, good service Cons: busy weekends more

The best pizza in town 3/7/2003

This is the best pizza in town. It's only contender is ranalli's deep dish, but it is basically the same pizza. Anyone that says otherwise just doesn't like a lot of cheese. more

I Had Better 3/7/2003

This pizza is the worst I have ever had. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone to eat at. more

Grew Up Eating the Best! 3/7/2003

I grew up right by the first Giordano's on 63rd and California. The best stuffed spinach pizza I have had. I live in CA now but everytime I fly home, I eat a Giordano's pizza. Pros: Inexpensive, Great food more

yikes 2/25/2003

Giordano's is usually great, but this location is terrible. The worst service I've ever had in chicago, and the pizza was just ok. Service was so bad it was insulting. more

best...pizza...ever 2/10/2003

I love Giordano's. It has always been my favorite pizza place. I was so disappointed when the one near my house closed down...bring it back!! Pros: wonderful pizza, affordable in groups, good ambiance Cons: pricey to eat alone, need to call ahead more

Awsome Food! 2/7/2003

The pizza there is incredible. I've never had anything like it. I love that you can order it over the internet & have it delivered, even when you live in Oklahoma! Pros: Cozy, Great taste more

Giordano's has the best pizza!- 1/13/2003

I live near Kalamazoo, Michigan so it is a bit of a drive to Chicago (the nearest Giordano's to us). However, if it were twice as far it would still be worth going. I look forward to going there all year on our annual trip to Chicago. Get there stuffed pizza! It is worth the price even if the price were three times as much. Hands down the best pizza place I have ever been too. Giordano's is number one in my book! Pros: Best food ever tasted Cons: aren't any! more

Extreme Dookie 1/9/2003
