Quality of work seems good, however, not any better than Baker Bros and costs for equivalent work was about 50% higher.

Summary of scheduled service and new coil estimate 6/29/2013

Service man was very professional. Frymire should have sent service man out with a longer hose so our compressor could be cleaned out. Sales person regarding replacement of our coil was a little too aggressive. Also thought the cost of the coil replacement was a little high. In my opinion the cost to determine the freon leak should have been deducted from the cost of the coil replacement - also email invoice received for freon leak search had errors on it. If it wasn't so expensive to have a leak search done again (ie about $300) I would have gotten a second opinion. more

Have been using Frymire for over 30 years for AC; it is the best!!! When I needed a plumber I decided to use Frymire since I knew their service and people were reliable. A few months ago needed a new water heater and today just got two new toilets installed. Having the service proctection saved me lots of money. The service call was completed quickly. Service contract becoming too expensive. 6/25/2013

Our air conditioner was working when the serviceman arrived. After $237.70 worth of maintenance the serviceman left (points and Freon). The air conditioner failed to work and serviceman had to return. This time needed a hard start kit at the cost of $159.81--I feel this was no coincidence. We can no longer afford this kind of "service". more

The service person is always punctual and gives a courtesy call when he is on the way. Their records contain information on the (special) sizes for the air-conditioner filters, and they place the order as needed for me. The service people are always courteous and never high-pressure, nor do they use scare tactics to coerce me into buying more services than my system needs. I appreciate the attention to neatness when they are working at my house. I trust Frymire and do recommend them to my friends. more

A/C Service Beyond Expectations! 6/24/2013

I would like to personally commend Abel Zamora for his expert and professional abilities that brought the needed solution to fixing my A/C problem. It was on a Saturday and Abel took the time to locate & retrieve the needed part rather than leaving the system out of service for another three or four days in the extreme heat. Abel Zamora is a real credit to Frymire Services. more

Always good Service 6/22/2013

I used Frymire to install my new system a few years back. . Before that, they had installed the central heating and air unit in the new house in 2002 and serviced it every year. I was a little disappointed that Frymire did not follow up after installing the new equipment and required me to call them to come and begin servicing. But overall i have had excellent service. Mike Sellers has been my technician for serveral years. He is friendly, respectable and courteous. They have upgraded to the new iPad which makes it environmentally friendly- no paper receipts or invoices. more

An electrical storm caused a number of problems in our home A/C, telecommunications, and electrical systems. Frymire's responded within 24 hours on a weekend and temporarily restored our A/C in a period of humid and 90 degree plus weather. They returned within 4 days after the repair replacement computer board arrived and permanently repaired the system to 100 restoration. We had purchased the A/C system from Frymire's the previous year and they stood behind the 10-yearparts and labor warranty without question. My personal compliments to Leo who would not quit until he got the system up and running and David who returned on the second visit to install the new computer board. I have used Frymire's now for over 11 years and they have not let our family down for A/C, heating, or plumbing needs. more

Tune-up turned sour. 6/17/2013

I ordered a system tune-up on both of my a/c's, from Angie's list, due to the fact that they were not blowing cool enough. I knew that they needed a tune-up, cleaning, and freon. The technician showed up, measured the freon, notified my wife that both systems were low and that there was nothing else he could do. He then gave my wife a bill for the additional system "tune-up." It cost me $100 to hear that my freon was low and that I had a leak. My wife insisted that he do "SOMETHING" else to justify the cost. The technician begrudingly went out and hosed off the condensors. What a waste!!! RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: The customer purchased a single Angie's List storefront offer for $49 precision tune-up. The customer has two systems and paid additionally for the tune-up on the second system. Our precision tune-ups includes inspection and noting the system condition, flushing condensate drains and clean the condenser coil. Low Freon charge was noted on both systems, as much as 9 pounds low on one. A leak search was recommended to locate the leaks and diagnose whether the leaks can be repaired or if parts need replacement. Also adding Freon was recommended to enable the systems to begin cooling. The customer declined both recommendations and instead elected to contact the company that recently installed the condensers. Our technician is a 29 year veteran of Frymire. He is quite capable, technically proficient and often requested by our longtime customers. Our technician was onsite for two hours and delivered our precision tune-up services as promised. And as the coupon states Coupon is for precision tune-up and does not include repairs or leak search. more
