This review is based only on my response to repair of one A/C 5/31/2013

About a month ago your service man came and completed the annual maintenance of my 3 A/C. He did a good job. However I told him that one A/C was not cooling the area. He identified that the evaporator had a leak and required replacement. I agreed and he said he would order a replacement. I have checked regularly to see when the replacement would be installed. The answer always is it is on order. Now a month of hot weather has gone by and no replacement. This A/C cools the bedrooms and when it doesn't work, it is difficult to sleep. Additionally we have two house guests coming in one week. The unit must be repaired now. We have run out of time. The A/C is a Trane and I want a replacement from Trane. I would appreciate your help in this matter. RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: We are very sorry for the delay. We ordered the replacement evaporator coil the same day, but unfortunately it has been on back order. Trane advises us that the new coil will be shipping today. more

I have used Frymire Services for warranty and planned service on my HVACs since 1985. Frymire installed the equipment when our current house was built in 1995. They send a very well trained and courteous technician each 6 months to inspect and do preventive maintenance on my systems. Recently, an electric part burned out and I had to call for repair. I called after hours and my system was repaired next day by a skilled tech who listened to my description of the problem and went directly to the part needing replacement. I wish all service companies were like Frymire. more

We were customers for many years and even had yearly plans. Last year when our air conditioner broke and we called for service telling them we were preferred customers they told us it would be two days before they could get out here to fix it. This was in July and that was unacceptable so we called other companies to see who could fix it sooner. When our plan was to be renewed we decided not to but only use Frymire when something breaks as you put in the units and they were still under warranty. I would not recommend your company. more

My only complaint is that the technician arrived with instructions that our main sewer line was blocked. We had a blockage of the kitchen line only. Also, the technician had no knowledge that we had purchased a discount coupon that was for a blockage removal and a camera inspection of the line. This was really not a problem because he very quickly and efficiently cleared the kitchen line, which was what we really wanted and needed. The technician was "very" good ... the communication from Frymire to the technician was "not so good". Overall, I am not disappointed ... we got what we wanted in a timely fashion. Thanks, Norman E. Frymire provided an excellent service experience. The sales person was very knowledgeable and explained more than one option based on budget. The technicians were very good. They focused on quality and the details and worked well as a team. They were not rushed and seemed to want to do the work right. I would definitely recommend Frymire to others. more
