Quality of work seems good, however, not any better than Baker Bros and costs for equivalent work was about 50% higher.

quick efficient service 7/19/2013

my AC went out on Saturday night. Called Frymire on Sunday and got an appointment for Monday. They called me when they were on their way as they said they would, so I was able to miss minimal time at work. The technician was knowledgeable and got things done quickly, and didn't try to sell me on services etc that weren't needed for immediate repair but did explain what maintenance might be needed soon. Will definitely call again. more

I want to thank the staff that answer my phone calls which were a few, as I did not want to stay without AC, they were helpful and quite professional. The Tech was considerate of my floors and home. Excellent dispatch 7/15/2013

Technician was courteous, professional, thorough, and repaired several suspect items quickly while here. He called ahead to verify we were home and ready for him. He wore booties when in the the house and did not leave anything for us to clean. Te only upgrade I would offer Frymire: we would like an email or call the next time our maintenance contract expires. Dean showed up on time was very professional throughout the appointment. He was very knowledgeable, found several items needing service, and took the time to explain options for each item without pressuring me to purchase. Ever since his visit our A/C system has been running like new, and we are very satisfied. more

Excellent results 7/12/2013

We purchased an air/heat unit in December from another company. When our air conditioner began to leak out of our ceiling instead of down the drainage pipe we were upset to say the least. We called the company only to find out that they had gone into bankrupsy. We called another company, the one that had bought the assets of the bankrupt avery air and heat. We were quoted $1300.00 to fix the problem. We were shocked, and decided to at least get another opinion. The Frymire service man came to our house on time, was respectful and professional. He fixed the problem for $170.00 and that included the service call. In fact the service man's diagnosis of the repair was spot on, since 3 weeks later the air conditioner is not leaking. We will be using Frymire from now on at this residence and also at our new home more

I Hate I called frymire 7/11/2013

Your technician was suggesting that I need a unit and all I needed was a capacitor. I explained to him what was going on with the unit and he said a salesman will be in touch. Well I sat in a hot house till the next day when someone brighter than your technician put the part on I needed about 25.00. Never heard back from frymire after leaving a message. Poor service, very unsatisfied but I will tell how frymire tried to screw me. Will be calling the better business bureau because that is not the way to do business , have a good day RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.: The customer called us to perform a precision tune up. It was stated to our technician when arrived that the a/c system worked sometimes. Tech found the condensate primary drain blocked and purged it. Attempted to start the a/c and found the compressor not running. The compressor was pulling close to locked rotor amps. He checked the run capacitor and installed a hard start kit. Compressor did start but it was over amping. Tech recommended to replace the condensing unit and turned the information over to our sales staff. The service called concluded at 5:48 PM. A Frymire salesman called that evening twice, once at 7:30 and again at 7:40 PM. Both times he left a voice message. The customer did not call back. more

2 visits for the same problem and not fixed 7/9/2013

Jose came to the house on June 27th for a yearly service contract visit. He determined there was a leak, because the charge was low, however he did not have his leak detector, any paperwork, any idea of our service agreement, and suggested his phone may not be working to get more information. Subsequently, on July 3rd DAnny came out and found the leak in the coil and charged the system, since Jose wasn't sure if he should do that on his vist (no idea of our service agreement/warranty on the system). Today is July 9th and I called in to findout what happens next. Cynthia said the part had been ordered. I also mentioned we recieved no e-mails regarding our 2 visits, no paperwork, not any information. more

Frymire is a big company and I feel as though I got big company type service with this most recent experience. My service technician was a nice guy and that was all that was pleasant about my experience. more
