Met Drain and Air Rescue at Austin Home and Garden Show. I scheduled an appointment to have our water heaters drained/checked and air ducts checked. Jim P(plumber) and Domingo (AC) were prompt, professional and courteous. Both explained recommendations with no pressure. I will definitely use these guys again. more

Impressed with Austin Air Rescue-Air Conditioning & Plumbing 1/17/2011

It was 36 degrees outside and our heater went out. 1/16/2011

This was the first time we have used Drain and Air Rescue and we needed a rescue. The house was a chilly 64 degrees all night long without the heater working. The tech came when they said he would and within 30 minutes he had the heater working and showed me how to manually light it in the future. Thank you more

I was impressed !!! These Guys get Air flow!! 1/16/2011

I had terrible air flow issues in my house that caused parts of my house to be to cold in the winter and too hot in summer.After sealing my ducts adding dampers to my system and balancing it made my entire home comfortable for everyone. Thanks Josh and David for coming out and making my entire family happy we strongly reccomend Drain and Air Rescue for the quality,concern, and value that was showed to us we definitely We appreciate your help. It was pricey but one week in and we are all comfortable in our rooms! more

Prices upfront and on Time 1/16/2011

I called on Thursday and recived same day service. The two plumbers came out and they found that my drain was clogged but was only in the pipes under the sink and not the main drain. They looked at the whole problem and found the garbage disposal was the culprate and they gave me my options on repairing it. They didnt even charge me for the intial problem!! Love the fact that they gave me the prices upfront and they looked at the entire situation! I have found my new plumbers for LIFE! more

Great residential plumbing service 1/15/2011

These guys were the best. I called them on a Friday morning. They gave me a 2 hr window of time as to when someone would be out. He was delayed but they called to tell me it would be later. The tech, Jim Palmer called me around 5 to tell me that he was still coming but that his prior job was running longer than expected. He came at 7:00 on a Friday night. Very nice and fixed my problem with only the $70. diagnostic charge. Very good people. more

Won't call them again 1/15/2011

Called them because my heater's blower wasnt coming on and the nights were getting into the 20s. Diane the receptionist, Domingo the serviceman, I have nothing bad to say about them. They were actually pretty friendly and professional. The repair's price was pretty friggin' excessive though. All the furnace needed was replacement of the ignitor. Looked it up online after the serviceman left. Part is only $30.00. Labor; It only took him 10-15 minutes to find the problem. Remove one screw, unplug the connector, plug the new connector, screw back in. That cost me $288.00. I didn't shop around like I usually do, but I was pressed for time, they had good reviews, so I called them. Next time I need a repair, they wont be on my shop around list. more

So far so good 1/13/2011

So far so good with this company. They've done some A/C repair, heater maintence too. They are extremely responsive and available at all hours and days. I just contracted with them and have them scheduled to check my circuit breakers as well. I'll upgrade to five stars if I know that they can handle that as well. I like them a lot. more

Fantastic Job- I would definately use their services in the future 1/12/2011

We had a heater that died on us at probably the coldest time of the year. I had called out 2 other companies who both had told us that we needed to replace the heater that we had. Angel from Austin Air Rescue, came out and diagnosed the ussye, picked up the part that needed to be replaced and then was able to quickly fix the problem. His level of professionalism was top notch- I would definately recommend this company and Angel in particular. more

Great Customer Service 1/11/2011

I called Diane to schedule my routine furnace check and she was very helpful and polite. She scheduled the tech to come out when I was available and did not say I had to stay home all day until the tech was able to come. Which most companies make you wait on them. Angel came out and he was very courteous and thorough. My furnace was red tagged because of a carbon monoxide leak. Angel diligently worked hard to get the parts so that I would not have to go with out heat. He again made arrangements for someone to come back at my convenience. Brian came and fixed the furnace quickly during my lunch break and then searched for a vent at a local hardware store to make changing my filters easier. He was also very courteous and thorough. I strongly recommend Austin Drain and Rescue. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been looking out for my best interest and doesn't act like they are doing me a favor. more

Best Experience 1/6/2011

I moved here a few months ago, and today when my sink backed up I was completely dreading having to call a plumber, just expecting to get taken for a ride because they know I am in need. I called Drain and Air Rescue and their customer service team was wonderful and friendly and they sent out a service team. James and Tyler came out and they were friendly, knowledgeable and they were not trying to sell me anything. They explained what happened, they were thorough in examining the problem and they explained all of my options to me. I ended up liking them so much that I signed up for the yearly service plan! more

Plumbing emergency? Call Drain and Air Rescue! 1/6/2011

When you have a plumbing emergency you need help quickly. Drain and air rescue had a service technician at my house in about an hour! Tyler was professional and did an excellent job. He even wore covers for his shoes so he would not track anything into the house. He gave me pricing up front and was polite and courteous. He cleared my clogged toilet quickly and efficiently. He offered suggestions of preventive maintenance and replacement of aging parts. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed and you'll be happy with the price. more

Jason is a stick to it knowledgeable friendly employee. He knows the job is not done, until it is done right. He continues until he gets it done. I'm requesting his services whenever I need maintenance in the future. He didn't make excuses ore say I didn't know. Jason obtained the parts and brought as soon as possible. more

I had these guys come in for a second opinion on an a/c system problem and they crushed the estimate from ARS. Drain and air Rescue pin-pointed the problem and give me a very nice discount to get it done. ARS tried to get me to replace the entire 6 year old system! That's the difference between working with technicians and salesmen. more

Great to work with 1/1/2011

This was the second time I have called on AAR. Each time they were very responsive to my needs. This most recent need was just servicing and not urgent but I was able make an appointment for the next day. My Tech was very informative, explained every thing he was doing in terms I could really understand! I really feel like I am getting honest and very good work when I call on this company. You can bet I will look no further when I am in need of plumbing or A/C service. Thanks for the ease of mind : ) more

Great Service 12/30/2010

Called for an immediate appointment for help determining why power wasn't getting to my HVAC system. Austin Air Rescue dispatchers were quick and had a technician on-site in less than 90 minutes. The technician - Jason - was highly competent. Jason quickly identified and fixed the problem. He spent additional time reviewing my system - identifying additional potential issues. Jason spent a considerable amount of time walking me through the issues and answered all my questions. I received a follow up phone call from them the day after to check on my satisfaction with the work and to schedule a free follow up visit with a supervisor to further evaluate the additional issues. They also offered to determine if any of the repairs would fall under the manufacturer's warranty. I would definitely call upon them again. They are thorough, courteous and very knowledgeable. And they never tried to sell me. They provided great service and gave me with the information I need to make an informed decision. more

We are first time customers. When I first called I was greeted most cheerfully by Diane who was very informative and helpful; she made me feel comfortable about acquiring about A/C service. She was good at explaining to me in great detail what to expect. I was impressed. The service by Domingo was great. He was friendly and very informative. Did not try to sell us anything we did not need. It is a nice feeling that you can feel comfortable with a company to service your house. We will stick with them for all our house needs that they offer. more
