I have been going to Dick's since I was a kid. I live on the Eastside but still drive over a couple times a month to Seattle just for the food. Awesome

Worst

These fries are so heavy and greasy that they may actually drip if you squeezed them- really gross if you ask me!

Dick's Burgers are the most highly overated burgers on the west coast !!!! Bland, unoriginal, cookie-cutter wafers of cardboard. The only redeeming value is that the fries aren't too bad. more

I've eaten at several of the Dick's burger locations and i must say that even if the burgers were not the most inexpensive burgers I've ever seen i would still love this place. This is not a sit down eatery. It reminds me of what i would a drive up restaurant in the sixties was like in that you have to eat in the car or outside on the sidewalk. Take it from a fat guy who knows burgers, this place is worth it! Pros: fast, great food, retro feel more

A Cheap Fix 12/7/2002

If you like cold greasy curly fries, this is the place to go. What on earth do they use for meat in their burgers? The Broadway store is situated ideally where the college crowd like to buy cheap stuff to eat, but downtown Seattle or somewhere on the Eastside it would never sell. Dick's Drive-In burgers are not changeable. I don't like ketchup on my burgers and can not order them without ketchup. End of story. The fries are fabulous and the shakes are great. The burgers, terrible. Pros: Good Shakes, Good Fries, Quick Cons: Standard Burgers more

Dick's provides economical mouthwatering all-American food to delight the senses. Yumm! The ambiance is like no other. People-watching abounds. A colorful mix of humanity gravitating to the simple and fresh hot food and rich ice cream. Underneath society's 'wrappers' of BMW's and homelessness; we all want the same thing; fresh french fries from real potatoes dipped in tartar sauce and catsup; creamy hand dipped milk shakes and delicious hamburgers. Bring it on!!!! more

The cheep hambergers are pretty good for as fast and sloppy as they are made. The seem a little dirty but I'm sure that's also becasue they look old. The staff sometimes unfriendly when they work long hours or have long lines. The burgers are good but the fries are horrible, they are as limp as spaghgetti noodles. Both are greasy and are sure to give you a heartattack at any rate. more

Anyone ever hear of In-N-Out Burger? 11/27/2002

Dick's is the WORST burger my family and I have ever had. The lettuce was wilted, the service terrible, and you have to pay extra for ketchup!!! What the heck is that about? Oh and the fries were sitting out under a heat lamp for a day and a half. If anyone is in CA and wants to try e real burger, go to In-N-Out Burger. The fries and burgers are made fresh when you order and you don't have t pay extra for ketchup!!! If I ever have a craving or food poisening or a visit to the emergency room, I'll make sure to go to Dick's. more

I would have to say that Dicks trully does have the best french fries. Not only are they super cheap, super fast, and easy to get to...they taste so darn good. The best way to tell if it is a good french fry, is if your hung over. I am sure to say that Dick's has made a small fortune off my hang overs! more

As a child we would drive to Seattle from Whidbey Island and our treat was a hamburger and french fries from Dicks. As a college Student I practicly lived at Dicks. As an adult I have passed on the tradition to my children. There are no better french fries to be found! more

I'd like to roll in the drive in my old '65 Vette, with some good vintage driving tunes playing on the radio. Drive-in's were a big part of growing up. As more and more gray hair appears, Dick's food tastes better and better. A little 'fountain of youth' rush, and that part is free. Pros: nastalgic, good-eats more
