I have been going to Dick's since I was a kid. I live on the Eastside but still drive over a couple times a month to Seattle just for the food. Awesome

These fries are so heavy and greasy that they may actually drip if you squeezed them- really gross if you ask me!

The 19¢ Burger Lives! 12/19/2003

As kids of the 1950's, we ended Friday & Saturday nights by dining at Ricardo's Club 19 (remember the ""Dick's 19¢ Burgers"" sign on 45th?). A bag of 5 burgers for a buck! - had to choke 'em down while they were warm, though (they still have a 19¢ burger, but the price has gone up). Dick's is cheap, but you get what you pay for. I've eaten there......more than once and found it edible. It works if you're drunk and out late and desperate for something to soak up the alcohol in your tummy. Pros: cheap, open, won't kill you Cons: cheap, open, won't kill you more

Good, but not THAT good 7/12/2003

While visiting we checked out Dick's and found it good, but certainly not exceptional. The shakes were great, the french fries were inconsistent (we went twice) and the burgers were only okay. I can understand the charm of the place and appreciate the fast and friendly service, but if this is the best that Seattle has to offer... Pros: good value, good shakes Cons: somehwat over-rated more

Dicks fries are yes both greasy AND limp. BUT they actually have substance compared with some over cooked mcdonalds crap! Deluxe burgers are the absolute best: dont even bother fighting it.
