Excellent customer service 6/3/2011

I recently took my car to Dick Hannah Volkswagen in Vancouver Washington to get my car repaired. I had just had two very awful things happen to me. First I needed my car rekeyed because my house was broken into and my car keys stolen and then second a week later my car while parked was smashed up onto the sidewalk when I returned and undriveable. To make matters a little bit more urgent my husband and I were expecting our second child in a month from when the car accident occurred. I really liked the way Dick Hannah took care of me. They all knew about my house incident and were very caring and concerned. Then when my car was smashed they were right on it as well. My car ended up taking longer to fix then expected. I was very worried because my own car insurance company would only pay for my rental for 30 days. I was also very worried that my baby would come before my car was finished. Jim at Dick Hannah assured me that they would take care of my rental fees for me. Then when I thought my car was done we saw that there were still dents in the car that were not there previously. Then again my own car insurance company refused to pay saying that they were not part of the accident. But again Dick Hannah took care of it for me. I was so relieved. Then of course my baby ended up coming before my car was finished. My husband went to pick up my car and found that one of our monster mats in the drivers side was missing. Jim at Dick Hannah made sure that it was found and assured me that somone would bring it to me at my house. This made me feel alot better since having a newborn and a 2 year old at home I do not think I would be able to pick up that mat for a while. Then on top of it all my husband forgot to get my sons new very favorite DVD out of the rental car. When I called Jim at Dick Hannah again he saved the day and made sure the DVD was delivered to my house.\r \r I really really am happy with their service and would recommend it to others. Makes me love having a Volkswagen and feel very valued. more

Customer for Life Program 6/2/2011

Good service, hard to dechiper rules for Customers for Life 6/1/2011

I purchased my 2009 Subaru Forester from Dick Hannah Subaru in 2009, and have maintained my vehicle with them in order to be part of their Customers for Life program. Needless to say, I live in Eugene, so it's quite a drag for an oil change to get service in Vancouver. I also feel like the phone is answered by a few different folks and it can be difficult to get answers to parts/labor pricing. Also, I have the Customers for Life Card and rules, but sometimes I feel like I've been led astray when I've called with questions about how to maintain my Customers for Life status. (Like the difference between my service warranty and the Dick Hannah Life program...) That said, the actual service I've received has always been quick, and Ken is someone I've worked with and ask for over and over again. A few months ago, they left some grease on the outside of the drivers seat, but I've noticed things have changed recently with the addition of on-site car washes and vacuuming. This time, I had the trailer hitch installed on the car. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, and I'm a little worried that it compromised the bumper a bit, but we'll see when I finally do find a matching utility trailer. They wash the car and vacuum the parts they can see, it isn't really a super in-depth job, but it's at least done. I really liked the free shuttle service- it's great that they are able to run customers around town or out to the airport for some shopping. All in all, I like the service, I just wish it was MUCH closer to me. It is also interesting that the salespeople lurk around the service department like piranhas when you drive in though... I'm in a 2 year old car that I plan on keeping forever folks, stop trying to sell me another one! more

Enjoyable Experience 6/1/2011

I have always had good experiences with DH Volkswagen. They are always up front with whatever issues you may have with your car and are always prompt to deliver that car back to you at the time you were told. I drive an 08 Passat and think it is one of the best cars I have ever drove. Maintenance can be a little on the spendy side, but the ride is worth it. more

Took my Dodge Dakota to Dick Hannah service in Vancouver to locate and fix a re-occuring problem with the ""check engine"" light. Paid twice to have local shops find the problem. To their credit one recommended I take the truck to a dealer since they were unable to fix the problem. Had to do with the oxygen sensors. I really felt concerned taking it to a dealer due to cost. They found the problem within an hour. Unplugged wire at fuse box. $50 bill!!! Was I surprised and pleased. Included was transportation to my home. WOW I will use their very professional service dept. again and recommend the dealership to my friends. more

Acura of Portland does an excellent job of taking care of the customer and their Acura's. My service manager makes sure to contact me and make me aware of any issues or concerns on my Acura before any work is done.\r I must say that customer serivce is top notch and wouldn't take my Acura anywhere else. I have been taking my Acura's to AOP for over 12 years.\r \r Last but not least the GM is probably why AOP excels for excellence and I believe it starts with his leadership! \r more

From the time we purchased our car at this location (using their ""on-line"" sales team) to each service that we have completed for normal warranty, it has been top notch all the way! We just had our 113,000 mile service completed for our MDX and got a set of new tires that saved us even more $$! \r \r Glen and the entire service team go ""above and beyond"" in customer service and truly make sure you are a satisfied customer! more

We have bought three cars from Dick Hannah since 2004 because we love the way they take care of us in the service department. Buying a car is just the first of many visits and so we believe the service department matters most when buying a car. They are great about answering my questions and never give me a hard time when I have to reschedule my maintenance--which is about half the time. They work around my schedule and are great about offering a pickup, a dropoff, or a rental if necessary. I always have lots of questions and they always have lots of patience. I am sure we will have a long term relationship! more

I needed an oil change and new wipers for my car in a hurry. (My wife needed to get to Seattle for an appointment). I called Dick Hannah Toyota while driving there and got an immediate appointment. I was in and out within an hour. Given the rain that day, my wife told me that the wiper replacement was well worth it. more

Get Just What You Need 5/7/2011

You can't go wrong with a dealer who makes sure you only get the maintenance you need on your vehicle. Service Manager Cory reviwed the list of service items I'd requested for my Ridgeline and found several weren't yet due. This reduced the cost considerably and still kept my truck in great shape. I left my vehicle for a extra day to fix another item I'd forgotten about and was really pleased to find Cory delivered my vehilce washed and vacuumed. Made my day. more

Once again Dick Hannah Service stepped up to the plate and hit a home run! Their staff is always friendly, customer service minded, and just plain GREAT! I got my oil changed, new battery, and new battery cables...saved a few bucks thanks to Gabriel and now my PT Cruiser is one happy car once again. Fast and Friendly service. I took advantage of there new Saturday service. I always had trouble getting a day in the week that I could go without my car. Now I can get my car serviced and not have to fit car maintenance into my work week. Thanks to the Saturday crew, great to work with. more

Has a great on-line scheduling tool that allowed me to schedule my appointement right from my iPhone, the dealership then followed up with a phone call letting me know how long the service would take. At the dealership I asked about a warning light that had come on and they quickly looked up the codes and quoted me a price to have the work completed next time I am in. Scheduled work was completed sooner than they promissed!! I will also be taking my other Honda to this Acura dealership for maintenance work in the future!! more

Jeep service recall 4/19/2011

Scheduled appointment and got right in for recall. Took care of all the parts that needed to be replaced. Also replaced two bulbs at no extra charge. more
