It's been one month with a broken dryer. Several service calls, waiting a week or more for appointments, waiting another week or more for parts, now they won't help move the unit on the service call! more

worst service ever 2/19/2011

Unfortunately I purchased a Bosch dryer from PC Richards, both of which was a mistake. I have this machine for 13 months and now am at the mercy of Dan Mark appliance to get it repaired. After having to wait a week for a technician to come to my home, he tells me he will need to order a new motor. After another week went by without a phone call from this company i did manage to speak with someone who told me they had never ordered the part because somehow they had lost the work order. They suddenly found the work order and I was told that someone would be to my home the next Monday. I then get a phone call saying the part would be in and someone could come to my home on Sunday. I was told that no one would be coming on Monday because I wasn't scheduled for Monday. Well it is now Sunday, and no one will be coming today either because their van has broken down. I certainly don't believe this. They have already lied once about the lost work order. Think long and hard before purchasing a Bosch appliance, purchasing anything at PC Richards, and definitely try not to use Dan Mark. more

worst customer service ever!!!! 2/13/2011

initial contact with the receptionist should be the indicator that they are awful. First contact says it all. I have used this company before because they are a certified Viking repair company, but even as a last resort, do not use them!!!! The technician who came out was very nice and knowlegable but the customer service personel is extremely rude. Susan seems to enjoy being nasty. She argues with the customer instead of a courteous answer such as ""I will look into it and call you back"" she was rude and insisted that there was no record of a service call to my home exactly a year earlier. She was dismissive. She also said it didn't matter because parts are only warrantied for 90 days. WRONG, Viking parts are warrantied for one year. I found my credit card bill days later and called back. Susan said she also found the service call but it was 3 days out of warranty. Well, Susan, dont you think a phone call would have been warranted?? She claims she did call and left a message and when I said I never received a call, she was argumentative again. Who wants to argue with an obviously unsatisfied person. Her job is to make customers feel better about shelling out another 700.00, not to treat them with disrespect. Perhaps they don't need the business and can affford to treat customers poorly. I say, DONT use them. There are plenty of good authorized repair services who go above and beyone for the customer!!!!! more

Worst Service EVER 9/25/2010

Our 2 month old washer broke almost a month ago. We went through Lowes and they told us to call Dan Marc. The service guy came out 3 weeks ago and took the washer apart. He said he had to order a part, so that was going to take a week. 3 times now the receptionist said that someone was going to come out and fix it. So I am left with a broken washer in pieces around my kitchen. Businesses like this one shouldn't be allowed to stay open. Virginia Beach, VA more

Horrible Service 7/13/2010

Don't bother with this company. First visit tech diagnosed the problem in 2 minutes. Machine needed an igniter. Part will be ordered. Part took 2.5 weeks to come in. You call for an update you get a receptionist who is so rude and ignorant, you would want to physically go there and just strangle her. Part finally comes, you call for service, can't come out for another week!!! Receptionist can't give you an exact time of when tech is going to come out until the day tech is supposed to come out because they don't schedule them until that day. Receptionist claims she calls you with an estimated time but doesn't. Tech goes to your house not sure if he doesn't know how to use a doorbell or not but 4 people were in the house and no one heard the doorbell. You call the office; receptionist calls you a liar that the tech was there ringing the doorbell. Can't reschedule for another week. It's been over a month now...machine is still broken!!! Worst Appliance Service Company EVER 6/18/2010

This company informed me that they were a certified servicer of SubZero. They came to my house, and after 10 minutes of inspections, said they were NOT a certified SubZero specialist and handed me a bill for a service call. I refused to pay it, because now I have to hire another company that is certified to perform the service. The gentleman (I use this term very loosely), stomped out of my house screaming and yelling, and slammed our heavy oak doors. I would advise everyone to stay far away from this company. Cons: Horrible service, rude, liars, and thieves more

Horrendous Service 3/26/2010

My wash machine needed to be serviced. Got their number from the Frigidaire, and the trouble began. First of all, they won't tell you until the day of when they are actually coming. If you work outside of home, how do you even plan a day? I was fortunate enough to be able to work from home and waited for the technician to show up. Anyway, they completely misdiagnosed the problem of water not draining. They cleaned up the water pipe and charged me $200 and called the problem fixed. When I tested the machine after they left, the problem remained. Water still not draining and the machine making crazy noises. I called back again to explain the problem and they insisted that it's just an imbalance and wouldn't come back to look at it again. I had to call another company, and it turned out that it was a bad back bearing and the machine was dead. I called back to complain and the lady was so rude defending their bad service, saying that I didn't make my machine assessible to the techinician! Really? The other company had no issue disgnosing the issue. To top it off, the lady ended up slamming the phone down on me. I am determined to get my money back, but if you don't want to go though so much rudeness, incompetency and losing a bunch of money like I did, don't contact this company. Fast Visit but Slow Service 3/21/2010

This thermostat is used on manay Amana, whirlpool and other brand refrigerators. But they did not have it in stock, were going to order it at the end of the day until I insisted that they call their office now to do so, and said it would take three days to arrive. So my refr would lbe out of service for almost a week for a simple part! Why can't they get parts delivered or shipped overnight? Complained to Amana Customer Service who shipped me the part overnight and arranged with Dan Marc to come and install it. Pros: Initial Visit Was Quick but Resolution was Snail-Paced Cons: Don't stock What I Believe are Common Parts - Order Slowly. more

My service man was BJ he knew my Viking Oven inside and out. He was very prompt and courteous explained all aspects of the repair, cost, and extremely honest. I would highly recommend this appliance repair company, and BJ! more
