This service was a success because the technician was competent and qualified to do the job and came on site with the replacement part in hand. No rescheduling hassles and waiting for repair with a different technician. Dan Marc is a company that is very professional, customer service oriented and I would definitely use them for appliance repairs in the future. more

A fine refrigerator. With the exception of water leaking as a result of excessive condensation (apparently a common problem resulting from a design flaw in one-way valve) it is excellent. The person who came to repair the water leak was polite, swift, and competent. more

The waiting time for a Custoner Service Representative was within reason and the Rep was courteous and helpful. more

I liked how you responded quickly and resolved the problem.You can do better by scheduling prevention check ups once a year even if the customer doesnt call you.After all the customer pays for a year in my case i paid for 3 yrs and no one has scheduled any visit more

They arrived promptly. He inspected the machine and explained that its back leg was not welded properly, which causes the door not to close well and leak. Apparently, a factory defect. He explained that this defect was not repairable and instructed us to return the machine to the dealer. Within a few days that matter was resolved- we received a replacement machine and it is working beautifully. more

Do not use this company for repairs! I took a day off from work to get my washer repaired and the tech came with the wrong part. Said the ""pre screener"" told him the wrong part. They dont carry anything but the part they ""think"" is correct! When i called the Customer Service dept. To ask that they give me a late day appt so i dont have to miss work, they very rudely told me they do not do that. I was put on hold 4 times and spent 20 minutes being shuffled around to be told i would have to do it their way. I would not recommend anyone using this company. more

I too can't say enough bad things about this company. My dryer which is only two years old malfunctioned. We hired this company to fix it, on the first appointment, the technician called and said he was on his way, but didn't show up. The second time, he came he had to order a part, it was the weekend so I understood that it would be difficult to get the part. The third time he showed up and installed the part but that didn't work. What irritated me was that he left without notifying us he had completed the job. We tried the machine and it still had an error message. We called the company and they refused to send the technician back that day, and gave us an appointment for two days later. To top it all off the customer service was less than stellar as they were rude and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend against hiring this company more

Dan Marc sent a very polite technician to my house to repair my washing machine. He diagnosed it and told me he would be ordering parts and come back by the end of the week. He came back and installed the parts and my washer is working like new. I will recommend this company to friends and family. more

Service serv??ice an act of helpful activity; help; aid: to do someone a service. Dan Marc Appliance Service an act of failure, fraud and unethical business practices. Over a 4-month period they attempted to repair our wall oven. Still doesn???t heat, however payment was made for the parts that didn???t fix the problem. They now clam not to offer service to our area in Morris County, NJ and will not give us credit for past payments. more

Our new Whirlpool broke down in 5 short months (why does a washing machine need a computer to tell it when to stat and stop anyway????). We were referred to Dan Marc. Unfortunately, like far too many service centers they have a policy of making their customers wait during a 5 hour window. I went to pick up my daughter from school, the technician came then left. I called Dan Marc and they refused to send him back that day. I asked for a specific appointment time on another day and they refused rudely. They insist on making you wait till its convenient for them. When I told the dispatcher to kindly extend me the courtesy of a set appointment-so I didnt have to give up a whole day waiting- something any other professional would do- she condescendingly refused and told me to go elsewhere for service. I suggest her advice apply to all perspective Dan Marc clients....GO ELSEWHERE! more

I can't say enough bad things from this company! It took them 4 months to fix our Kitchen Aid microwave and they ended up not fixing it. They always say they will call you, and then never do so. The woman who answers the phone is very rude and inattentive. The guy that they sent for the repair was clueless and had no idea of what he was doing. The 5 times he came to our home, he would spend more than an hour on the phone (my home phone of course) calling Kitchen Aid to ask them for instructions. Every time he was at my home he used to receive personal calls and once, he actually stepped out of the apartment to speak with his lady friend without any interruptions. He always asked to use the bathroom, which by the way is fine with me, but then he wouldn't even bother to flush the toilet!!! Our initial estimate was $600, but they kept ordering parts without even letting us know and 4 months later they gave us a new estimate of $1000! My guess is that they didn't know how to fix it and just wanted to get rid of us. Terrible company, who wants to charge clients as if they were professionals and they're really, really far from that. DON'T HIRE THEM. more

This was the worst service I have ever had. It took them three months to get the part for my dishwasher, then the guy came out to fix it, only to find it leaking into my basement after he did the job. It ruined the ceiling down below. We reported it to the company and another guy came down and diagnosed the problem as a ""cracked motor housing"" and told us we had to replace the whole thing without even taking the dishwasher apart and looking inside. Coincidentaly (or maybe not so) the first guy took the whole motor and pump apart, replaced the pump and acleaned out the whole thing. Now this guy is telling me I need to perform a $500 plus repair without even looking to see what is really causing the leak? These people are useless. more
