WHERE DID THE SPOTS COME FROM AND WHY 5/8/2013

WHEN I ORIGINALLY MET WITH THE REP, THERE WAS ONE SPOT NOTED THAT I WAS ADVISED WOULD NOT COME CLEAN. AFTER THE CLEANING, THERE WERE TWO LARGE SPOTS. I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE FROM COIT AND THEY SENT THE SAME TECH BACK THE NEXT DAY TO FIX THESE SPOTS. THE TECH ADVISED THAT WE NEEDED TO LET THE CARPET DRY GOOD BEFORE EXAMINING. I WAITED A WEEK AND THE SPOTS LOOK AS BAD AS BEFORE. THIS TECH FELT HE HAD GOTTEN THE PAD OVERLY WET AND BROUGHT THE DIRT TO THE SURFACE. I HAVE NOT CALLED COIT BACK BECAUSE I AM ANGRY AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO. THIS IS MY ELDERLY MOM'S HOME THAT WE ARE TRYING TO SELL AND SO I NEED TO DO SOMETHING BUT FELT CALLING COIT BACK WAS NOT THE ANSWER!!!!! more

our service person was very pleasant and did a good job explaining how he was going to do the job. He was very thorough and even suggested we switch our furnace filters to the washable type, which we did. more

Pricey for the End Result 5/7/2013

The tech that came to my home was polite and did a good job. The carpet looks much better, but I wouldn't say it is better than what I get after renting a machine and doing it myself. Although it saved my back and was much easier to let him do it! If my back could take it, I'd save the $500 and do it myself! (2000 sf of carpet, pets and kids in the house) more

Coit not really for pet urine. 5/4/2013

Nice guy who visited for estimate. Very clear estimate. Advised cannot guarantee about the pet urine on the upholstery and carpet, so I was aware of this. Tech came to clean, again nice guy, Did his duty... But the urine smell is still lingering but I am accepting the idea that once there is pet urine its there to stay. In time we will install wood floors in those areas. Also the upholstery that was to be dry cleaned still had the pet stains but again I was advised that it may not come out and there is no guarantee. I advise pet lovers to install wood floors as opposed to carpet because in the long run it will be less expensive more

Happy to use them again 5/4/2013

I had my shower tiled cleaned and sealed, a pleated shade cleaned and vertical blinds cleaned. The workers called b4 they came and were on time. When they reinstalled the shade, I thought it looked dingy in a couple of places--they offered to reclean it until I was satisfied. Refreshing in this day and age. more

Carpet cleaning was a-1. Had a sofa cleaned that is white print that had been cleaned before by another company and was not impressed. The sofa looks brand-new now. Carpet looks great. more

Carpet and upholstery cleaning 5/3/2013

This cleaning was a little more expensive than some of the cleanings I have paid for before but they got the carpets really clean and the stains did not come back like they have with other companies. I will be using them again. more

Generally pleased with performance 5/3/2013

Especially satisfied with the service of the estimators -- very professional and congenial. Only one criticism: the two men who did our upholstery cleaning neglected to wear booties over their shoes. Overall good job on everything Coit has done for us. One voice message to remind us that we have a discount card and there is a sale is sufficient. Three are annoying. more

Not a good review 5/2/2013

Check in with me in a month. Maybe they will have rectified the situation, but this has been going on since March! The issue was a case of over selling. RESPONSE FROM COIT Cleaning of Colorado: The tile and hard surface department clean an outside entry way that was composed of Colorado rose flagstone. We tried getting an alkaline and calcium deposit build up that had produced on the surface of the stone. The build up was pretty heavy and came off in some areas, and in other areas did not. I went out to view the troubled area as soon as I got the call and determined we needed a different solution. We immediately went back out with the solution needed to properly clean this specific type of mineral and had great results. I called the customer back and she said she could not be happier and would definitely use us in the future. As far as over pricing, I did not hear anything along that nature from our customer. Great service - poor paperwork 5/2/2013

Lately, both on the phone, and when the cleaners come, no one seems to know the details of work done in the past. Colors for sealing weren't on record, and the rooms had to be re-measured. However, the carpet cleaning job itself was perfect! more

I will never use Coit again. 5/1/2013

Dispute regarding orginal cost estimate for cleaning. Runner and both 3 by 5 throw rugs were full of sand and dust when put on the hard wood floor. Appears they were not cleaned. After about 3 weeks, I threw them out due to the sand. The 2 larger area carpets look is if they were not cleaned, Same stains on them as before the service. more
