I've never had a good experience with any car ""service"" thus far. I made my reservation with Eastern online (thrilled that I didn't have to TALK to anyone) and I received a confirmation email after doing so. I was skeptical. The car arrived 8 minutes early (whaa?!?!?) and I received a very nice notification of this via email. ""Your driver has arrived but will wait for you until pick up time..."" AWESOME! I was greeted with a spotless car, a really nice driver and a speedy delivery to JFK. It was refreshing that they got the basics right. Bonus points for joining the rest of us in 2012 and actually using technology to their advantage. I'll absolutely book them again. more

I asked to be picked up at 3 pm, and my driver was right on time -- however, I was not. I wasn't ready until about 3:15 pm, and I apologized to my driver when he called at 3, but he said it was okay and he'd just get a coffee. When I was ready to go I gave him a call and he was already outside waiting. He was super nice and friendly. more

COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. I booked this car service several weeks in advance through a Groupon that I purchased. The car service was supposed to pick me up at 5:30AM last Friday to take me to Newark Airport. They called at 5:10AM- 20 minutes before my scheduled pickup- and left a rather rude and completely unapologetic voicemail that said: ""This is Eastern Car Service- sorry, we ran out of cars and cannot pick you up. Thanks""....that was it. So at 5:30am in the pouring rain I had to find a taxi to get to the airport and almost missed my flight. I will NEVER use this car service again, and frankly I hope they go out of business. more

EASTERN: One start is too much...we 5/24/2012

EASTERN: One start is too much...we should have another option to grade with + or -, just like in school. Arecibo and Easter are too big in Park slope and they dont care of anyone. I personally never again will call them...small company give me better service. Kiss you good bye!! more
