Skip this place. I went there on a whim, looking for restaurants with open reservations on really short notice (like 2 hours before dinner). I should have known better. The service was ok, but man, was it rushed. We ordered an appetizer while still looking at menu to decide on an entree. About 5 mins after we ordered the appetizer, before we had ordered an entree, and well before we recieved drinks, the appetizers showed up. We had to order entrees with our mouthes full and appetizers getting cold. Our entrees arrived before we had a chance to finish our appetizers. The food was prepared very well, and portions were about average size for New York City. Prices were a bit steep though. The entire meal took 45 minutes, which is unacceptable for a place where the bill was over $100 for 2 people. One more caveat about this place: The menu they have in the restaurant is MUCH MUCH smaller than the one on their website. We had a choice of maybe 7-8 entrees, and it was a very limited selection. I would skip this place and spend your money where they don't try to get you in and out as quickly as possible.
Pros: Interesting decor, enough space to walk between tables, food prepared very well
Cons: Rushed service, pricy, very limited menu
