With the $25 discount for writing a review, the cost to rod out a shower drain (which took about 30 minutes) was $534. That is about $1,068/hr for a plumber.\r The technician was courteous and professional, but the rates are inappropriate and I will never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone, unless money is no object.\r \r I had taken time off from work to have this done, so putting it off was only going to cost me more time. In hindsight, should have sent the plumber away and rodded it out myself.\r That will be the procedure going forward. more
