Short story. For whatever reason they did not give me a bill till my 6th visit and guess what, they are charging each visit (20-30min with many people at the same time) as 1 chiro...

I tried several chiropractors in the Seattle area before a friend directed me to Dr. Scott and the great staff at Belltown Spine and Wellness. I've struggled with neck and upper back pain for several years and could never get long-term relief despite rotating visits to chiropractors, massage therapists, and acupuncturists. I appreciate that Dr. Scott and his staff took x-rays to pinpoint the problem areas and then tailored my in-office and at-home exercises to improve my posture and neck alignment with equal attention paid to short-term pain relief and long-term correction. I also like receiving regular progress reports that help me know where I'm improving and what I still need to work on. The long-term care plan I received at the beginning of treatment makes me feel like an active participant in the healing process. I look forward to chatting with the friendly and knowledgeable staff during my visits every week, and I highly recommend Belltown Spine and Wellness. more

Its like an auto repair shop for your body. You wouldn't go years without performing an alignment on your car, would you? Its amazing how much energy and stamina I have after having a few dents pulled out and my bumper straightened. This kid feels like a new car with zero miles. Dr. Scott and his team are miracle workers! 4/3/2012

With just one visit the only thing I can say is I was treated well and the procedure left me feeling better than ever. I am looking forward to my next visit and being able to discuss my problems in depth. The staff was professional but yet didn't make me feel like I was ""just another customer."" I appreciate every session I have at Belltown Spine, the results that I have had with my chiropractic appointements has been phenomenal. The fact that I am able to avoid any type of surgery and using any painkillers for my back pain anymore is good enough for me, this place seriously gets real results just try them and find out for yourself. more

Leg Pain Gone! 8/28/2011

If you must go to the chiropractor, Belltown Spine and Wellness is the place to be. I have having pains in my right leg for a few months and my doctor has not been really able to help me with a solution, I went to the chiropractor for an evaluation. Turns out this was caused by prolonged sitting at work and it was causing damage to my posture and the culprit for the leg pain. After a few sessions the pain was gone. more

Seattle's Best Chiropractor 8/13/2011

I was an occasional visitor to Dr. Scott Mindel's office not long after he got out of Chiropractic School. I was away for a few years, long enough to rack up a laundry list of ills, aches and pains. Knowing that traditional treatment would result in inconclusive tests and toxic drugs, I undertook regular treatment with Dr. Scott. Well, I noticed improvement in a few treatments and a gradual improvement in overall well being overtime. I am also certain that he saved me from the surgeon's knife when I was careless enough to get my 5th lumbar vertebra badly out of place in 2008. It was bad enough that I had to have help going to and from treatments for 2 to 3 weeks and otherwise could do very little for myself. I now lead an active and sometimes strenuous life, able to make all the sculpture I want AND schlep it around. more

I've been coming to BSW since February and love this place! All the girls at the front desk are great and so helpful! Dr. Scott is very attentive to my changing symptoms and I've seen a great amount of improvement. I highly recommend coming here if you want to be involved in your own care. more

Great Place for Healing 8/8/2011

Belltown Spine & Wellness has helped me the last 4 months to recovery from a back injury. The holistic approach helps you both physically and mentally heal from an injury. The staff is very caring and engages in relationships with the clients so that it always feels at home. I receive both chiropractic care with Dr. Scott as well as massages by Erin Childs and I could not ask for a better treatment plan. I see more results every day. Plus, the ladies up front are just a ray of sunlight in my day :) more

No more pain 7/28/2011

Twice a month for the last 2 years has been my prescription, I don't need harsh medicine to hide my pain and its because I don't have it anymore. Most people don't know this but most insurance plans cover chiropractic therapy, they have found that this is cheaper in the long run for their business and much easier to deal with as well. I would recommend Belltown, they have great staff and Dr. Scott is awesome. more

Great Overall and Complete Care 7/19/2011

I met Dr. Scott at a Health Fair at my work place over 2 years ago. I went in for a consultation and found out my head and neck were way out of alignment with my spine. Within a few weeks, some wrist pain and weakness I was having were completely gone. In about two years, my head, neck, and spine are now aligned like they should be which will prevent future problems. I now go once a month just to maintain my back health. After Dr. Scott adjusts my neck and spine, he has me do additional therapy. Dr. Scott and his team are very helpful, friendly, and professional. They really provide thorough care. more

Professional Massage 5/17/2011

I have visited a few massage parlors around the city and it seems like they all know what they are doing but Belltown Spine and Wellness really has been the best in my opinion. They are actually a chiropractic clinic but I think the critical knowledge that I have from practicing and studying the practice gives them a competitive edge in massage. Overall I rank them highest on best experience and results out of all the places I have received treatment. more

Caring and Informative .... 9/20/2010

Dr. Scott is not only a caring but shows his patients respect and is constantly updating his knowledge of the body, musculoskeletal, and nervous system. I have been a patient for over 13 years and trust my kids health to him -- even as early as 3 weeks old. To trust a doctor with your children is to trust a doctor completely. Once you have a doctor that you know cares about you as a person is a true gift to cherish. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family - I am truly blessed!! more

The best out there 9/13/2010

Chatting with fellow patients in the office, I have easily met a dozen people who have been loyal to Dr. Scott for thirteen, fourteen and fifteen years. People maintain longstanding patronage with him because with non-surgical and non-invasive procedures (and without the use of prescription drugs!) he helps people create AND maintain much improved health. My wife and I have both seen major transformations over the years. You're the best out there, Dr. Scott! more

I have never written a review online however, felt compelled to do so about Belltown Spine and Wellness and Dr. Scott Mindel. Let me start by saying I went in very skeptical about spine doctors and chiropractic in general. I was diagnosed over a year ago with a herniated L4 L5 and have had extremely frustrating pain and stiffness in my lumbar and thoracic areas of my back as a result. I have seen a ""world Renowned"" spinal surgeon in Atlanta along with other doctors over the past year. Not opting for surgery I received three epidural shots and all I was told was to do a series of physical therapy twice a day and that it would improve. Well it did not. I have been seeing Dr. Mindel for about two months and while my back is not back to 100% yet I have noticed an absolute improvement. I have noticeably less pain and stiffness and I can sleep through the nigh and wake up without pain. Although I don't understand some of the chiropractic techniques and some of the therapy looks midieval, Dr. Mindel is methodical, deliberate and caring and his staff is professional and fun.
