A classy place to pamper yourself 4/29/2009

Assara Laser might be the best clinic in New York. I visited several & some are sleazy. I was told not to identify them. Anyways, try Assara and you will never regret it. The prices are about 1/2 the quality (sic) competitors. Pros: Price price price....and quality Cons: No branch yet in Brooklyn! more

A warm and caring place 4/29/2009

I only have warm feelings about Assara. Everyone really cares for the clients. Nobody rushes. The results are great every single treatment. My appointments are the best parts of my busy working schedule. I look forward to going there. Pros: comfort, price Cons: nothing comes to mind more

Happy With Assara Laser Centers 4/29/2009

I absolutely love the staff at Assara laser! I've been working with them for about a year, treating different areas of my body (I wont say which areas on a public forum! )If you can't get an appointment they will do there best to fit you in or even stay late or open early to get you treated. They are very strong about making sure you come in for treatments within a certain time frame according to your treatment protocol and don't want to you miss out on a treatment. The center is always spotless and everyone there is so knowledgeable about lasers, treatments and people. I love this place! Pros: cool place, enjoyable experience more

helpful courtesy call reminder 1 day before my appointments 4/28/2009

A lot of good things have been said about Assara in the reviews I read here. I just wanted to add that one of the things I find most helpful, is the courtesy reminder call I receive the day before my appointment. I work in finance, and maintaining my schedule is of utmost importance to me. Thank you for making the extra effort by not only giving me professional treatments, but also by helping to keep me on track. Pros: courtesy call helps me keep my schedule in order more

Referred by Satisfied Friend and Now have Smooth, Underarms 4/28/2009

I was very skeptical about laser hair removal when I first heard about it through a friend of mine, but after seeing her results with Assara I knew I had to do treatments on my underarms. I have had 2 treatments on my underarms and the results have been great! Within a month or so, I'll start sessions on my bikini line, so that I'm ready for the beach. Finished Bikini Line Treatment 4/28/2009

I just completed my bikini line treatments about one month ago. I promised Angela, my specialist, that I would say something nice about Assara, if I was satisfied. I decided to wait a month to make sure no hairs would come back in after my sessions were done. They haven't, and I'm very pleased. Thank you Angela. Best Laser Center I've Experienced 4/28/2009

I moved to Manhattan about 3 years ago, had a few treatments in Florida, Arizona and California when I did consulting, and 1 treatment in my former hometown of Boston. When I began a new consulting position in NY, I decided to look for a center here to do further treatments. Well I was going to another center for 2 treatments and honestly didn't see any results, though the people there were "friendly enough." I actually met Elizabeth, my Assara laser contact, at a deli across from my building and noticed her uniform, so we began talking and I went in for a consult. She basically explained everything and was telling me the center I was going to wasn't properly trained or the were using improper settings to get more treatments out of me. Also she said they were telling me to wait to long between treatments. I have done 3 underarm and upper lip treatments with Elizabeth and my hair is almost completely gone. I really recommend this center because they are honest, well trained, customer service oriented, and deliver great results. Thanks for reading my review!!!! more

Unbelievable!!!! 4/28/2009

I can't believe how great my results have been. I did full legs, my full bikini and under arms. I am a marathon runner and it feels so good under my clothes when I go for a run, saves so much prep time too. My boyfriend loves my results he has decided to do his back, YES! Best Telephone Consultation 4/28/2009

I just moved to New York two weeks ago from California. I knew I wanted to start my permanent hair removal treatment sessions right away. There are so many centers in NYC, which made it hard to choose right away where to go. At most centers that I called, the person who answered the telephone was unwilling or unable to discuss the treatments. I found Assara Laser to be excellent because the manager who answered the phone was willing to engage in a conversation with me about the process and treatment protocols. I have had two bikini, underarm and lip treatments now. I'm super happy with the results. more

I was nervous to get my body treated. I began by asking the technician to show me how it's done. I ended up lasering my legs, under arms, bikini and stomach. I am very happy with the service and the pricing. I can't imagine having to shave like I used to. There are no words to describe how happy I am that I got lasering done. I highly recommend going to Assara. I didn't go for a consult but they have free consults if you're interested! Pros: effective! more

I was petrified to get lasered! I can't stand pain and I almost chickened out! I am soooo glad I didn't! It was NOT bad at all! My skin is the softest- I cannot believe lasering your body is this simple! I went for two treatments so far and my next is very soon. I tried almost every clinic sponsored by Citysearch. Finally an operation run by professionals for professionals. I am a busy executive with little time for delays such as "we are the biggest" "sorry, we are moving" and "if we guff we have insurance or we will redo". From the certificates and awards lining the walls, Assara Laser appears truly the best in town. I actually told them to increase their prices! Bravo! Pros: Just the best Cons: No other like it more

Great Service 4/25/2009

I've tried many laser centers in the past, but Assara Laser gave me the best value for my treatments. The staff there is very well-informed, and pleasant to work with. When I first called on the telephone, the manager who answered was willing to do a telephone consultation with me prior to me coming in for an in-person consultation. This gave me great comfort with the level of professionalism at Assara. I highly recommend. Pros: very nice people more

What an amazing experience! AMAZING! Professional, clean and affordable: it's a difficult combination to find. Even in New York. I've been wanting to do this laser hair removal thing for awhile (especially now that it's swimsuit season). And while it seems like more and more people are talking about it, I never hear anyone mention which company to use. A good friend of mine told me about this place, Assara, and I am so, so, SO happy he did! The location is convenient, the staff are friendly and I could actually afford the service. I can't believe it was this easy. They made it so easy -- I was in and out in no time, the treatment was painless (I'm done with hot wax), and they gave me a great deal. Thank you!! more

Excellent Laser Hair Removal Center 4/25/2009

I had a superlative experience at Assara Laser. At my consultation, my specialist answer each and every one of my questions, and even gave me a few points of beauty advice, since I am a model by profession. I work in Midtown West, so I go to assara laser hair removal during my lunch hour. I do lip and chin treatments, which take under 30 minutes. The results have been fantastic. I felt like I had to try laser hair removal because with waxing, I had to wait until the hair on my face would grow enoug that people could see it !!!!! Now that I've had laser, my face is perfectly smooth, like it was when i was 16!! Pros: Good location, great atmosphere more

I just finished 6 underarm and bikini treatments about a year ago. I came back to Assara to make my legs smooth. The results from the treatments are GREAT, and the staff has always been friendly, and accomodative of my schedule of my hectic work schedule, which made sometimes required me to call and change appointment times. I went to the 51st street and Second Avenue Assara Center. I always have my treatments at 6:30 p.m. right after work, which is a short walk away. Anglea is my specialist. I cannot recommend her highly enough. more

excellent results on my bikini line 4/25/2009

I researched many laser hair removal treatment centers in New York, and read a lot of positive things about Assara on the internet. I made my appointment by using their website's online chat, which was great, since I'm on the phone with clients for most of the day at work. My appointment started right on time, and I left feeling just great with my experience. I'm really looking forward to my vacation this summer. Very Happy With Unlimited Program 4/25/2009

I joined Assara's membership Unlimited Program three months ago, and have been getting full body treatments. My investment for my hair removal protocol has been $599 per month for the last three months, which is a **spectacular deal** for full body treatments. I called several other laser centers in Manhattan, and none of them would even give me a price over the telephone. After I took the time to visit several centers so that I could get pricing information, I was able to see that the Unlimited Program is the best value for me to receive my underarm, bikini, legs, arms and face treatments together in one package.
