I have read hundreds of reviews relating to many of the larger NYC clinics. I assume they are mostly written by the respective managements. I dropped in at Assara Laser almost by accident. People always refers you to one of the 2 or 3 big ones and Assara Laser Cosmetics was the most central. Anyway the results are absolutely great. I have not yet finished my 6 - treatment package recommended for my hairy body. I actually enjoy the visits. They are almost pain free & usually quite relaxing. The few technicians I have met as well as the 2 managers are all friendly, work on a fixed salary and don't hassle or hustle you for tips. I am not underwriting Assara as the absolute best , cheapest or largest clinic but do believe you will receive value for your money and a warranty that means something. I?ve so far finished 3 treatments in their unlimited plan. I?m incredibly happy with the results so far. The cool thing about these laser hair removal sessions is that after my first treatment, I had immediate results, as good as waxing. Bottom line, I highly recommend Assara Laser Centers. There may be other good clinics around but I know for sure that this one did the trick for me. I absolutely love the doctors at Assara Laser! If you can't get an appointment the specialists, will do thir best to fit you in or even stay late or open early for your treatment. I was referred to Assara by my doctor to help me remove excessive hair growth on my arms. As my doctor explained to me, laser hair removal is the most effective treatment currently available to reduce my unwanted hair growth. The other methods available are waxing and shaving, which is what I've been doing up to this point, and electrolysis. I was fed up with constantly waxing the hair growth on my arms, which was time-intensive and uncomfortable. Shaving was not an option because I didn't want stubble. Apparently, electrolysis is very good for permanent hair removal; however, the process is supposed to be quite expensive and each session would take several hours. I've had two sessions of laser at Assara and can attest to the effectiveness of laser hair removal. My arms are completely smooth in between sessions, and I have only 4 more sessions to go before they're smooth permanently.
