Excellent hospitality! 3/14/2008

As is clear from the reviews below, Assara has received countless positive reviews on its service and its $599 unlimited program, so I won't repeat the same praise. Just thought I'd let you know that we very much enjoyed the hospitality and atmosphere and plan on returning as soon as we are back from our honeymoon; this time for some facial rejuvenation. Great Results 3/4/2008

I recently used Assara for my three laser hair removal procedures. I got tired of having my back waxed and shaving my chest and underarms. First I had my armpits done, after that procucedure went well I had my chest and back done. I am very happy with the end result and will continue to recommend Assara for laser hair removal. the assara center has a large comfortable waiting area. my specialists greeted me in the reception area cordially, and gave me a consultation in the consult room. my treatment was conducted in a comfortable treatment room where i could lay down, and have my lower legs treated. i brought my ipod, and received my treatment. i would recommend assara for its courtesy and professionalism. Outstanding results 3/2/2008

I?ve always had trouble with razor bumps and ingrown hairs on my face. As a guy, I also felt a little uncomfortable looking into laser hair removal, but I?m glad I did and I?m glad I went to Assara. Liz was outstanding and seemed to know what she was doing. It feels wonderful to look in the mirror and not see angry red bumps all over my neck from shaving. happy client 2/28/2008

What a nice experience I had. I'm not yet finished all my treatments, but so far, it's really been great. My legs have been treated 4 times and I just started treating my bikini area (summer is coming!) It's really amazing how the hair just falls out a week or so after treatment. Anyhow, with the $599 unlimited program I just heard about, I think I'm going to treat my entire body (not that I have hair everywhere - but still!!). I will update my posting (if I can) once I'm done with all my treatments. Stay tuned! ps. to be fair, I've only been treated by Liz; she's been awesome. more

came to assara because two of my friends received laser hair removal treatments on their full-bodies under assara's unlimited program. i've had one treatment, and thought the center and staff was overall professional, straight-forward and pristine. one of my friends received 6 full treatments over the course of 8 months and my other friend moved to los angeles from new york 3 months after starting, so having received 2 treatments, she elected to discontinue her membership at assara. both were perfectly satisfied and shared no complaints with me. my friend who moved to LA is disappointed that laser hair removal is too expensive on the west coast. after my first treatment, my specialist let me know that assara valued my presence and asked that i would let others know if i was satisfied. i am satisfied, and this is my review. thank you for reading. This was a really good place - for both hair removal and laser facials. Very easy to book appointments and the technicians are fast, experienced and professional. what a delight! this is the place that you read about on all the celebrity gossip sites. this spa offers great value and even better results. as a person of morrocan descent, my body is covered in a rich thick carpet of hair. I've had a fine experience with Assara Laser. They began treating numerous zones on my body during the summer, and continued treatments with them until my treatment protocol was finished in the winter. As it was explained to me, they used a YAG frequency laser on me during the summer, when my skin was tanned. Then during the winter, they used an Alex frequency laser. Results were wonderful. Initially I was quite sceptical since the price was so cheap (I did the full-body treatment package) - and rather nervous about the treatment, but the price turned out to be correct (which is incredible considering what other places charge) and the technicians did a great job: they were fast and made me feel relaxed. I'm now a big fan! They were also good with booking appointments at convenient times - I booked at weekends and lunchtimes which fitted into my work schedule. Recommend for laser hair removal 1/13/2008

I was reluctant about hair removal because I didn't know too much about the process. But the specialist who answered the phone was really informative and I ended up making a consultation. Assara's Rockefeller location was really nice and Liz, the specialist who treated me, was really nice and made me feel completely comfortable througout the process. Finally tried laser hair remocal 1/12/2008

I'd been thinking of trying laser hair removal for the past two years, but had always been uncertain. my mother got me a gift card from assara this christmas. over the winter break from university, i had my first treatment. listening to my ipod during the treatments helped me to feel very relaxed. the treatment took about thirty minutes. in about a week, the hair i treated "shed" out. overall, i'm very satisfied and would recommend to anybody who's been curious about the service for a while, like me, to try laser hair removal. Assara def knows what they are doing 1/5/2008

After spending a fortune at another hair removal salon (avoid IPL at all costs!), I came to Assara for a real laser treatment. The difference is like night and day. Assara uses a top of the line laser and I saw incredible results after only 3 treatments. I?m going in for my fifth back treatment, and after coming in for my first treatment looking like a grizzly bear even after multiple IPL treatments, my back hair is now growing in much finer and is much less noticeable. My skin had not been hairfree in such a long time that I forgot what it was like not to hide behind makeup. To be honest, my skin was not bad - I had some acne and one part of face was a bit rough. I was looking for a service that was *right* for me - - I just didn't know if I needed a laser facial, skin tightening, etc. During my consultation, the specialists at Assara were able to look at my skin and identify the relevant problems. Assara is fantastic! I asked a lot of questions on the phone, even before I came in for a consultation (We talked for over 30 minutes), and they were very patient with me. Even when I came in, the tech asked me a lot of questions, and made sure I was totally comfortable with the procedure. Assara is thorough, helpful and very professional. I had a great experience at Assara. The staff was very friendly and they took my privacy seriously. The treatment itself was also much much less painful than I expected. In fact, it was more comfortable than waxing. After six treatments, my legs are still as smooth as they have ever been. I?m really looking forward to summer this year!
