I was so tired of spending so much time shaving, so I decided to move onto waxing. Well for the past 7 years I have been waxing and I did a few calculations to see how much money I would save in the long run if I just went with laser. Let me tell you it's a lot more than you would guess, think about paying cash for a luxury car, that's your answer. I came to Assara because my sister has her treatments done and her legs look much better than mine did. I wanted to have the same sleek, smooth look and feel, so I decided to do treatments. I am only 3 treatments in but I can already see a huge difference, as well as feel too. I am so glad I made the decision to have treatments as well as probably save a bunch in the long run. I came across this center through a referral from a co-worker, she has her legs done here. I have heard a lot of stories of people doing "laser" and not receiving good results. After doing my research I found a lot of centers aren't using a real laser but what is called IPL, intense pulsed light. After asking what laser they use at this center and knowing it is probably the best one on the market, I decided to go in for a consultation. I met with the technician, very friendly and educated lady. She knew exactly what machines were used at her competitors and why their laser is superior. I felt comfortable with purchasing a package because one my co-worker referred me and second because she was knowledgeable about everything with lasers that I could tell she loved her work and took it seriously. I had micro- dermabrasion recently together with a laser facial. I'm extremely satisfied with both! The technicians at Assara are well educated which makes you feel comfortable with the procedures. Because of your referral discount and/or free session promotion, I always bring a friend. We love Angela (sometimes we are treated by Lisa, Miriam or Yossi) and always get great service. Who knows if anyone ever reads these reviews but if someone there wants a really good place to go to.........Assara Laser. I have been burnt many times at other NYC clinics and believed burns were part of the "package". Not true. Assara Laser never burns anyone - probably because of the special medicated ointment they use. Back to my compliments: your staff is the best and so is your clinic. No one should try any other place. I had treatments and signed up for the $ 599.00 a month. They took my credit card and billed me even though I did not need it. I called my credit card company and denied the charge. They are scam artists. Check with Attorney General office, they have 68 complaints !!! Do not give your credit card to them. I travel nationwide and laser often (I am a bear), Assaralasser is unbelievable and unbeatable. I am not a paid spokesperson . Besides a few laser techs, I know no one there. First I believed the price was just avereage. As time passed and the treatments ran the course I came in for several free touch ups Sure the technicians expect a few bucks tip but the smile on their faces are worth everything. There is never additional fees or bump ups as at other US locations. This place is for real. Try it and say Jack Daniels sent you. Ask for promotional prices. There is always a hidden coupon the girls can access. This though don't say came from me. Don't worry about pain. They have some awesome medicated creams to counter any discomfort. I came to Assara this week and signed up for the unlimited program. I looked around for a while at the websites and advertisements at several of the laser hair removal centers in New York. The unlimted program was the best deal I could find. Since I'm allowed to come in as many times as I wish now that I'm a member, I decided to split my full body treatments into two sessions. This week, I did a session for my legs and bikini line. Next week, I have an appointment to treat my underarms and arms. Laser Hair Removal is a simple process, and the results are great. It hardly takes any time, the pain is very mild but the results are long lasting, permanent rather and a great choice to remove unwanted hair permanently. I got laser hair removal done a few months ago at Assara, I see no re-growth now after 6 months and I am very glad I did it. I had a lot of in-growth and dark coarse hair around my bikini area and underarms. Shaving was only making the hair harder and waxing was so painful, especially in the bikini area. Laser has solved my problem and now saves me a lot of time. No more cuts and burning for me. I was in their monthly program, which is very reasonable, if you compare it to spending $70 every month for waxing at a salon for life, which would cost tens of thousands. It hurt just a tad bit, more like a pinch. I read someone mentioning that it feels like someone snapping rubber bands in the underarm area and I agree with that totally. That is exactly how it feels. The sensation is very bearable though. I think waxing is worse. I was able to go back home and resume my daily activities immediately. I did not shave or wax a month before going for laser. During the process as well, I did not do anything to that area. On the whole, laser hair removal has been excellent for me and it is a great choice. I finished my Laser Hair Removal treatments getting ready for this summer on my legs and bikini area. After 6 sessions, I saw a fantastic result and my legs and bikini area are smooth and clean now. It was not so painful on the legs, but the bikini area I felt a tingle sensation, maybe a little more than I had expected. But the good thing is my technician was very comforting throughout the whole treatment. Laser saves a lot of money and time and I am very glad that I received treatment when I did -- I am now happily married and my husband loves it. I had severe facial hair before i started laser hair removal. It caused ingrown hairs that turned into what looked like pimples all over my neck and face area. Laser hair removal changed my life. I have no more ingrown hair, which allowed my skin heal over time and at this point i only have baby fine hair and much much less than what I started with.
