DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! Was given a time slot from 2-5 since that was the only availability. My mom was in town and it was her birthday. We stayed home because of the scheduled time slot. Was called and told that he would be here closer to 5:30-6 (after waiting till about 5pm). Was asked if we could schedule Saturday morning and told him we couldn't. He said that if the 5:30-6 time slot didn't work out, then we he would come out Monday morning. My whole family waited and waited on my mother's birthday and didn't go out to eat or for dessert because of the service appointment. 7pm rolled around. No call, no show. We called and called, no answer. The hours said M-F 8-5. Been calling since 8am. It is Monday. It is now almost 9 and no answer. HORRIBLE SERVICE. NO SERVICE. NO CALL. NO SHOW. DON'T BOTHER. more

THE WORSE SERVICE COMPANY EVER! 11/29/2011

This is a company that does not provide any service. After paying for a part and labor, it took them several months before installing the part. Five calls later and several missed appointments, they finally installed the part and assured me that they will come back out in three days to see if the appliance needed an ""adjustment"". Never showed up. After a few more calls, Ray did not even pick up or return calls. I finally called the company's phone number and asked for Ray (the owner). He actually picked up the phone and disguised his voice with a southern accent! He was pleasant and verified the information (appliance location and contact phone number) and assured me that Ray will get on it. Didn't happen.\r \r A warning to future customers: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS THE WORSE SERVICE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! I regretted using this company and if I had seen the bad reviews prior to calling them for service, I would have never called them. If I could give this company a negative five star rating, I would. \r \r Luckily, my credit card company has refunded my money and I ended up getting a new appliance. more

DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE CONNECTION 11/18/2011

I called this so called ""company"" conserning my Samsung dryer, and set up an apointment for Friday. Friday came along and I recieved a call from the owner Ray. Ray told me that he had just checked my repair ticket and realized that they did not have access to the parts they needed. Ray told me that he contacted his sister company that could complete the repairs and that I should get a call from one of the other company reps as soon as I hung up. An hour later I called the company however they knew nothing about this matter. I called Ray back, and he told me that he would attempt to get the parts and call me back in a few minutes. An hour an a half later I called Ray but the guy wont answer his phone. I have called the guy three times and left message but he won't return my calls. What a worth less so called ""Company"". Dont waste your time by calling these idiots. more

Wouldn't use this place 11/2/2011

This place is very unreliable. I have made 4 appts. with them but they have only shown up for 1 and at that one they fixed the wrong thing so it didn't do any good and now they won't come back and fix the correct part. They screen their calls so you can't talk to anyone to find out what is going on. It really stinks that you sit home all day waiting for them to show up and they never do. I always call the day of the appt. to make sure that I am still on the schedule so I know that I have the right day. Don't know how they stay in business. more

Terrific Service/ Quality Professionals 9/15/2011

We have a Fisher Paykal washer and dryer and have had two problems with it. The first was a short in the panel and we called a company recommended on Fisher Paykal's website. It was an absolute nightmare which went on for two weeks. Finally I talked to the owner who promised he would come out and install the panel, which we ended up paying an additional $50.00 for overnight shipping. He was very apologetic and promised to refund the overnight shipping fee. Of course he never did. Recently the washer would not spin so I went back to the website and chose a different repair service, The Appliance Connection. Ray arrived within the time frame we agreed on, was pleasant and knowledgeable. Within twenty minutes the machine was fixed and Ray was on to his next appointment. No doubt who our new repair company is! more

We had this company repair 3 of our appliances and they did a great job on each. They were flexible with our scheduling needs, were always on time, and I would certainly use them again if I needed. more

Worst Service Company Ever 7/14/2011

Should really be zero stars. They never show up when they are supposed to. They don't return phone calls. And when they did finally show up, they left the dryer in worse condition than when they started. Avoid these people like the plague!!! more

Fast service 5/26/2011

We bought a F/P dishwasher less then a year ago and\r it started leaking water on the floor. Of course this was\r the weekend so I waited until monday to call.(meanwhile unplugged the washer) I called the\r number in our owners man. They gave me the number\r for Appliance Connection. I called and was surprised\r for them to say they could be out that afternoon. As it\r turned out there was a glass that was too high and it\r kept the top from sealing and caused the leak. The\r repairman was very nice, knew the machine very well, and explained the problem. We were very satisfied with \r the service and will recommend them to others. more

The Best in Customer Service 5/9/2011

We have not had much luck with service companies since moving here to Arizona. Originally we were going to just replace the appliance. We were referred to The Appliance Connection from the manufacturer. So glad that we called! They were prompt in returning phone calls, actually were early for scheduled appointment (how often does that happen!), and friendly, fast, and efficient! Even received a follow up phone call the following week to make sure all was well! Cannot not recommend them more highly!! more

My front load washer flooded our laundry room. Found Appliance Connection from Frigidaire's website. They came out found my pump leaking & replaced it same day. Repairman was very nice & knew right what was wrong. It is very refreshing to find an honest service company that doesn't overcharge for repairs. Strongly recommend The Appliance Connection. more

Great Service 4/21/2011

Our refrigerator quit working in the middle of the night. the next morning we put a request in thru an online service called Service Magic. They called right away & had a guy out that morning. Fixed us up and we did not lose much of our food. Very personable, rates were good & service was great. Would recommend this company. they saved us money. more

Worst appliance service ever! 2/19/2011

They were called out for a leaking ice maker. Adjusted it On the first time out, then the next time installed a new one that still leaks water. They are never on time and the third scheduled appointment I sat @ the house all day waiting for them or a call. Didn't happen and still hasn't !!! They screen all their calls and won't return them. Would not recommend them for ANYTHING. Call someone else. I paid them with a credit card and have had the company stop payment of their charges. more

I've used this company for years. They've been very fair and friendly over the years (to me).\r In the past six months, they have gone completely downhill. Their rates went up considerably\r and they rarely show up, call or arrive when promised. If you have a choice of hiring this company or\r buying a completely new appliance, DO NOT CALL THE APPLIANCE CONNECTION IN GILBERT, AZ!!. Cons: They don't call back, they don't show up and they take your money without finishing the work. more

zero customer service 7/31/2008

In 2002 my frigidare was new and had a warranty, needed repair and frigidare recommended appliance connection. the repair was made and I thought everything was fine. Five years later, and no warranty I have the same problem. I took the cover off the inside wall of my fridge and found they jammed a piece of plastic in a connector to wedge the wire harness and that was the repair job! Now my fridge is out of warranty and it needs a new wire harness and is going to cost as much as a new refridgerator. DO NOT....I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR COMPANY, THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!! more

Appliance Connection has terrible customer service!!! 11/17/2007

The experience I have had trying to get my refrigerator fixed by appliance connection has been awful. Almost 1.5 wks now and it is still not working. This is partly due to GE not having the part immed. available to fix the fridge, but the customer service on Appliance Connection's end has been terrible. I was told they would be by to fix my fridge on a Sat morning between 8 am -12 noon. At 12:45 they were still a no show and I later found out the part was not available. Next I was told the part was being overnighted to my house and would be there by 11am the next day so all I had to do was call and tell them the part was there and they would come over and finish the repair. I took a half-day off from work , drove home and found out the part was not there. After calling Ray Lockrem (of Appliance Connection) I found out that had been told that morning that GE had to put out a search for the part so it was not available to be shipped overnight. Did he bother to call and tell me that before I left work early?? Of course not!!! When the part finally came in I called at 9:30 am to tell him the part was in and that my wife would be home later that afternoon for him to come by. He never showed and when my wife called he said he was in another area of town and would call her when he left. HE NEVER CALLED...BIG SURPRISE!!!\r \r APPLIANCE CONNECTION IS NOT RELIABLE AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE...NOT EVEN PEOPLE I DON'T LIKE!!! more

No Show for REPEAT Repair 9/5/2007

I had a timeframe for an icemaker repair on Friday, Aug 31 between 11 - 2. Repairman showed up at around 4 (no call to tell me he'd be late, and when I called the main number at 2:30 to check his status the voicemail box was full). I was told I needed a new motor ($238.40). Repairman said I should have a full ice compartment within 24 hours. I still had no ice by Tuesday (it was a holiday weekend), so I called and made an appointment for Wednesday, between 8 - 12. The owner told me it could be a valve since there was no water in the ice cube tray (did I EVER need a new motor????) I waited the entire day and they were a no show. I did speak to the owner once at around 1:30 and he said he would check on the status and call me back. Never heard from anyone since and it's now 6pm. Repeated phone calls just went to voice mail. Of course, they didn't waste any time depositing my check for repairs that didn't work.I wasted 2 entire days waiting for them and missed a job interview in the process. UNRELIABLE, UNDEPENDABLE WITH QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! If and when the repairs are done correctly I will post the new status. Cons: UNRELIABLE more

The APpliance Connection NO Called and No Showed for a repair appointment, they also billed and recieved payment for the work they DID NOT DO and parts they did NOT supply. Cons: Not dependable, Not ethical. more
