The experience I have had trying to get my refrigerator fixed by appliance connection has been awful. Almost 1.5 wks now and it is still not working. This is partly due to GE not having the part immed. available to fix the fridge, but the customer service on Appliance Connection's end has been terrible. I was told they would be by to fix my fridge on a Sat morning between 8 am -12 noon. At 12:45 they were still a no show and I later found out the part was not available. Next I was told the part was being overnighted to my house and would be there by 11am the next day so all I had to do was call and tell them the part was there and they would come over and finish the repair. I took a half-day off from work , drove home and found out the part was not there. After calling Ray Lockrem (of Appliance Connection) I found out that had been told that morning that GE had to put out a search for the part so it was not available to be shipped overnight. Did he bother to call and tell me that before I left work early?? Of course not!!! When the part finally came in I called at 9:30 am to tell him the part was in and that my wife would be home later that afternoon for him to come by. He never showed and when my wife called he said he was in another area of town and would call her when he left. HE NEVER CALLED...BIG SURPRISE!!!\r \r APPLIANCE CONNECTION IS NOT RELIABLE AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE...NOT EVEN PEOPLE I DON'T LIKE!!! more
