After my X alarm monitoring service locked me out of the system I own, cancelling after two years and never missing a payment, I was ready for war. I searched high and low for an alarm monitoring company, stumbled upon Alarm Grid, and by dumb luck I just so happened to find the perfect monitoring service that does so much more. My specific plan is saving me $30 a month, have added six cameras, will integrate multiple devices and to top it off, get ready for this... Alarm Grid's CUSTOMER SERVICE IS INCREDIBLE!!! Compared to the other major service provider's, prior to finding this gem of a service, so far Alarm Grid's support Engineer's are the most experienced, friendly, happy to help, no BS, let's get the problem resolved or new service set up and go. They understand not only multiple controllers and devices, they actually listen, respond and follow up to my needs. Well, the first fella I spoke to was a little unfocused, however he did get my business because of his responses to my direct questions. All in all, drop your current Automation, Alarm, Monitoring service and get in contact with AlarmGrid now. I am an unknown customer, but a customer regardless, something AG cares about and a thing most providers forget about. Thanks AG. more

I wanted to replace my old builder-installed alarm with a new, more advanced, connected system. I first became familiar with AlarmGrid through their help articles and videos that I discovered as I was researching what I wanted to buy. I ended up watching quite a few of their detailed installation videos and reading several of their guides both before and after purchasing my new system. In the process I decided to support their business by giving them my alarm monitoring business. The appointment to activate my alarm went smoothly and the technician was extremely helpful. Alarm grid is doing my home security monitoring and I just set up tonight. Joe was the rep helping me out and he was knowledgeable in everything about my system and answered all my questions to beyond satisfaction. If you are a DIY person and want to install your own Lyric security system these are the people you need to call. I received all of the equipment within a few days of my order as promised. Most of my install went off without a hitch, but had a sensor and keypad that would not sync to the system and could not figure out how to set up the garage door tilt and opener. I scheduled my turn up call with Alarm Grid and they called me within a minute of the scheduled time. The rep setup the system within the first 15 minutes of the call and even noted issues in my original setup that he corrected. After he finished the initial setup I went over my sensor, keypad & Garage issues. he walked me through there setup and had them working within minutes. He then walked me through a through testing of the system where we discovered an issue with the key fob remote, which again was fixed quickly. And finally, he walked me through there Central station procedures and contact numbers, followed by a detailed email with all of the company’s support and central station information. This was one of most pleasant and through support calls I have ever had. Thanks Alarm Grid for all you help. You now have a customer for life. more

Activation was complete in a timely manner without any hassle and little intervention from me.The agent were very helpful and always in contact updating on the progress of the activation. Please with the notification I receiving via email and TC app as I am on the self Bronze plan. more

Wish I knew about this company sooner. After paying over $400 per year for my Central Monitoring, and dealing with technicians that come three hours late or never at all for hundreds of dollars a pop, I decided to switch when my contract was up. For $15 per month, I get Central Monitoring and excellent customer service. I am a handy person, and find it very easy to service my system myself if I need to change a wireless contact battery or check a fault zone. If I ever run into a problem, Alarm Grid is there to walk me through what I need to do. When I activated service with them, all it took was a walk through via the phone with Jorge, who explained everything to me. Within an hour, I was on my way. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! more

After only a few days, the company has been great to work with. Whereas another alarm monitoring company tried to sell me on additional hardware and then push towards unwanted services, Alarm Grid helped me make the best choice for my needs. The technical support was great to work with and communicated options and status throughout the entire process. more

I know NOTHING about wiring an alarm. Between the detailed explainations of the products on the website, the YouTube videos and the support of the Alarm Grid staff I have been able to install an alarm with professional grade equipment for my business. The Alarm Grid website says that they provide instructions written for the end user. I was expecting to receive a document that they had written with that info in it. I now know that the info the website refers to is on their website under the specific product. I had one small issue with some of the products I was sold. The company accepted those products as a return. I would recommend this company to anyone who has basic knowledge of electricity and is otherwise somewhat "handy". more
