If you want to install your own system, get timely replies, help while browsing the site and yes, even a phone call from a tech - you cannot beat this service. I was able to install my new Lyric system, get help on some fuzzy documentation, watch excellent install videos and then set it all up for monthly, no contract DIY or Monitored setup within a couple hours. Customer service is good and the product ships quickly. If you call the support line do not be alarmed (no pun intended). They will call you back and spend as much time answering questions as it takes. more

I've only used Alarm Grid for a month but I'm thrilled with the support I've had from the company. This is my first alarm system and I wanted to set up and install my own system . I'm very particular and wanted a neat and tidy installation and the ability to modify it without having to get someone out. After a lot of research I went with the Lynx 7000 system. Installation was very easy. I'm a software engineer so configuring the system was easy helped by the videos posted by Sterling on the Alarm Grid site that were excellent source of confirmation. The initial configuration was a painless experience with Alarm Grid talking me through it step by step such as adding users passwords, codes etc to the system. I've received fantastic support from Alarm Grid with very detailed prompt responses to all my questions. Highly recommended. John more
