The technician, Travis, was very polite & knowledgeable. He replaced the rollers on our garage door & gave it a tune up. It works so smoothly now!

Worst

the problem was fixed when he contacted the office & fond he had two wires reversed - when reversed the system worked fine

I called Alamo Door & Awning the night before and they returned the call the next morning. They gave me a time when they could be here. On the day of, they were running a little late, but did call me to let me know. It barely took any time for them to put in a new screen on top of the door. more

Alamo Door & Awning repaired a spring and some electrical components on our garage door. They worked with me as far as finding a good time for me. They came later on in the early evening when I was able to get home from work. They were prompt and got the work done. They were always very professional and everything seemed to work fine once they were done. more

They are very good, very professional, and they knew what they were doing. There was one little problem with the job that I called them about. They sent someone out to fix it, and they did not charge me for that visit. more

Alamo Door & Awning is always great to work with! They are my only call for things like this. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to come out on the same day I called to fix my issue. He triggered it out no problem and got it repaired quickly. I'm always happy with them. more

My garage door would not open more than a few inches. 1/14/2012

Called Alamo on 12/23/2011 and they came out that day and replaced my springs and rollers. Very glad they were able to fix it that day since the following day I was headed out of town and my car was stuck inside my garage! They explained everything that needed to be done before they started and got the door fixed in very little time. I would recommend them! more

Excellent Repair Experience 12/6/2011

Often times companies want to sell you a new unit rather than take the time to repair what is broken. This is not the case with Alamo. Derrick was wonderful to work with. He was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. He explained what the problems were and how he would fix them. Not once did he ever try to push me into buying a new garage door or system. I appreciate the integrity and honesty that Alamo uses in doing business with their customers. Because of my experience they have earned my recommendation to my friends and family as well as a customer for life! more

Our experience with Alamo Door & Awning was very brief. Our garage door broke, so my husband found them in the phone book and gave them a call. The tech was able to come right out. He was nice and efficient. He fixed the door within forty-five minutes. We'd use them again, they do a really good job. more

We have used Alamo Door & Awning before, and had a good experience with them. They are very quick to respond to calls, their prices are very reasonable. Actually, one time, we called them because we thought we had a problem, and they came out and it turned out to be nothing and they didn't charge us and we thought that was very kind of them. Recently, Randy came out and explained everything that needed to be done, he was very timely and very nice. He also had a nice, clean uniform on. He did a great job and we'd definitely use them again. more

Good value and very satisfied! 10/11/2011

Alamo Door & Awning came out the same day we called them. This was important because my car was stuck in the garage when the spring broke. We were able to get everything repaired that we needed. Derek from Alamo Door & Awning was very nice when he came out. He fixed a couple of things we needed to be repaired as well as a couple of things we didn't know about to keep us from causing problems in the future! They were all taken care of in one visit. Derek was very honest and helpful! Alamo Door & Awning didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. The service was very good. Like I said, they came up on the same day. From looking at other places I had checked, what they charge at Alamo Door & Awning was not over the top. Some companies charge way more than for what they do. However, Alamo Door & Awning has very good value and I'm satisfied! more

I was very satisfied with Alamo Door & Awning. The technician was really knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem really quickly. He had all the materials to fix it so he fixed the problem very quickly. They repaired a garage door for us. I would recommend them! I was very satisfied with Alamo Door and Awning! more

James from Alamo Door & Awning was already waiting in my driveway when I got home. He was prompt and on time. He did not beat around the bush: he detected the problem right away and told me what it was. He seemed to be upfront. There was no part required so he fixed the problem. I thought the rate was a little pricey but I appreciated his honesty. The central reservation system at Alamo Door & Awning was very cooperative with me. They told me a two-hour time window where the service person would come. One hour later however, I had a schedule conflict so I called them back and Alamo Door & Awning was very accommodating and gave me another time window. My experience with Alamo Door & Awning was excellent! more

I've used Alamo Door & Awning several times since they first installed my garage door for me. They are always fast in responding to my calls and are able to come out on the same day or the next day. They work quickly and are efficient. Recently, they came out to fix a broken spring for me. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody! more
