The technician, Travis, was very polite & knowledgeable. He replaced the rollers on our garage door & gave it a tune up. It works so smoothly now!

the problem was fixed when he contacted the office & fond he had two wires reversed - when reversed the system worked fine

We hired Alamo Door & Awning when a cable came off our garage door. I thought it was going to be an easy job, but once the technician was there he had to service the whole door. It was a surprise to me, but he did a good job and the door should be working for a while now. I would definitely use Alamo Door & Awning again. They were on time and did a good job. They did what they were supposed to in a short time, and I'm very satisfied with the work. more

Quick response and complete service 11/7/2013

We called Alamo Door & Awning to repair our door. They came within an hour of our call, which we really appreciated. The gentleman worked and fixed the door perfectly. It was a fine experience, and we would recommend their services. more

THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL 10/13/2013

A SPRING SNAPPED ON OUR LARGE GARAGE DOOR. WE WERE PRISONERS IN OUR GARAGE-UNABLE TO OPERATE THE DOOR TO GET CARS OUT. WADE CAME OUT ON A SUNDAY MORNING,PERFORMED AN ASSESSMENT OF THE ISSUES, PRESENTED US WITH HIS RECOMMENDATIONS AND GOT TO WORK. HE HAD THE TOOLS AND PARTS ON HAND TO HAVE OUR DOOR RUNNING SMOOTHLY IN JUST OVER AN HOUR. SO FAR SO GOOD AND WE ARE APPRECIATIVE AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WADE. more

Alamo Door & Awning saved the day! 9/24/2013

We had a birthday party that was about to start. People were about to be arriving and our garage door was broken; it was off the track. So it was an emergency situation. Alamo Door & Awning was able to get somebody over within 30 minutes of me calling them and he had the door fixed 30 minutes after he arrived. The gentleman who came out was very friendly, very independent, and capable. The bill was in a very acceptable range of cost. We intend to use them in the future and would highly recommend Alamo Door & Awning to others. more

They guy worked very hard on our complex system! 9/10/2013

Alamo Door & Awning's employee made all the difference! He came out when we wanted to have a garage door opener replaced. We have a very complicated system with a gate, a garage door, and then another garage door. It's hard to get all of the buttons to work. This guy worked and worked and worked in the awful heat and did a really great job. more

Alamo Door & Awning replaced a garage door opener and straightened it out. They did a good job. I was very impressed with the technician who came out. He was very nice and told me exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem. I was very pleased. If they had come a day sooner it would have saved me some extra money, but they couldn't and that's not their fault. I was very pleased with their response time. more

Came out right after we called! Great followup advice, too. 7/25/2013

Our garage door stopped working because of broken springs. We called Alamo Door & Awning, and they scheduled the appointment for just two hours after the call. They were there so soon. The spring replacement was very fast, and they gave us advice on how to maintain them better so we wouldn't have to call them again soon! more

Huge cost discrepancies 7/24/2013

Alamo Door and Awning quoted me a price over the phone and the tech came out and tried to up-sell me on things I didn't need. He wanted to charge me over twice what he was doing, and I understand that he was describing a best case scenario and I really had to talk him into doing what I asked. The work was great and they came out quickly but I didn't appreciate the discrepancy between what I was told over the phone and what actually happened. more

Everything was great, I left msg over phone at 7:20am, received call back in about 45 min. They arrived within the window they stated and called when they were on the way. Work progressed smoothly, quickly and professionally. Service guys were friendly and competent. They fixed everything and provided necc maintenance to ensure I don't need them again for several years. I've used Alamo for almost 20 years and I've always been happy. Highly recommended! more
