We could no find the weather sealers for our garage doors due to our house being old. Alamo special ordered the product for us, delivered them and told us how to install. They look great! more

I have used Alamo Door & Awning many times for repairs to my garage doors but this was the first shed door they worked on. The door completely broke down, so they ordered a new one and installed it. The color was exactly what I asked for and they did a great job with the instillation. I don't remember how I started using them, but they have always done great work for me. Alamo Door & Awning showed up on time and did a great job. They repaired the door very well. The work was great. I don't really have a problem with them. If I need another door serviced, I will call back and use them again, and I would refer them. However, I would like to note a little odd thing about the package of stuff they left. I did have a problem, and I even talked to the lady at Alamo Door & Awning about it. They did a good job fixing my broken door spring. They did a great job repairing it, but there was a problem. It wasn't a huge problem, it was something a little strange. I even spoke to the lady about it afterward, but I'm busy, and I don't have a lot of time to deal with this stuff because I am out and about buying groceries and everything. I only have so much time. They gave me this service package with some grease, wax, and oil. They handed that to me when they showed up, and they said it was for me to use afterward for maintenance. Then they did the job, replaced the spring, and it sounded great. It was a good job. I set the pack on my shelf in the garage to go into the house and grab them some Gatorade, then I came back out a few minutes later, and the stuff they handed me wasn't there. I asked them about it, and they had used most of the grease, oil, and wax that they had given me specifically to use afterward. I wanted to read through it over the weekend. I didn't notice it on the invoice when I paid, then later I saw there was a charge for the kit. I was a little dismayed by that, so I called them, and the lady said that's not right. I never did follow up with them about the charge, because I just don't have time to call in and ask them for a refund. more

The technician did an excellent job of fixing the garage door problem quickly. Then he performed periodic maintenance. He made several suggestions based on his experience which will improve future door performance and eliminate rust in the garage. I have used Alamo Door & Awning on three different occasions. Roughly four years ago, I had them install a new garage door opener. Then, about four months ago, a spring on the door broke. So, they came out and they fixed that perfectly. Most recently, the garage door was making a noise and when they came out, they found that it was just a pin that was out of place. Each time, they have been prompt to respond and prompt to get the problem fixed. After I used them the first time, I recommended them to my sister and her husband, who used them to have a new garage door opener installed. That is about the best recommendation I could have given for them. more
