The technician, Travis, was very polite & knowledgeable. He replaced the rollers on our garage door & gave it a tune up. It works so smoothly now!

the problem was fixed when he contacted the office & fond he had two wires reversed - when reversed the system worked fine

Outstanding and prompt service 10/21/2012

I received great service. After appointment was made the service man showed up a few minutes early. His knowledge about garage doors was really outstanding. He had my problem fixed in just a few minutes. He changed the rollers and lubed the chain etc. I am completely satified. Thank you very much. Al I have forgotten the service mans name, but he did an excellent job. more

Great response time, Great work! 10/21/2012

After a garage door breakdown over the weekend, the office responded immediately to my call on Sunday and set up an appointment for first thing Monday AM. They arrived on time and fixed the problem, along wih servicing my other door. Great service! more

Fixing Garage Door Opener 10/16/2012

On October 15th, Derrick was able to come a little bit earlier than he was scheduled which was appreciated. Derrick promptly fixed the garage door opener. This is the third time,in the last couple of years, Derrick has fixed something to do with my garage doors and I highly recommend him. more

Customer Service Excellent 9/26/2012

I recently was visiting my daughter in Arlington, TX, and needed to have new batteries installed in my two garage door openers. I have driven by Alamo Door & Awning many times when I lived in Arlington but never used them for any service. I walked in from the street, asked to have two batteries installed in my units, the nice lady at the front desk said no problem. Everyone in the store was very nice, we started to talk, and I told them I was from a little town in West Texas and it was hard to get into Abilene or San Angelo to have them replaced. I also told them my daughter was needing a repair on her garage and she would be calling them as soon as she gets her garage cleaned out. By this time, the batteries had been installed, and I asked how much for them, and she said no charge. That it was their pleasure to help me. I was quite surprised. Expecting to pay and then getting it for free. To me this is what you call "SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE". I know we will be using them in the future. Thanks again, Beverly Hawkins Robert Lee, Tx more

Satisfactory experience. 9/13/2012

We were having a problem closing our garage doors and Alamo Door & Awning helped us fix the problem. It turns out that the door wasn't closing because we had put a bucket in front of the sensor that keeps the garage door from closing in case a small child runs through. more

I had a couple of things I needed Alamo to do. They did the work no problems, and completed everything on site without having to go back and get more parts or anything. They were quick and efficient, and gave me tips for making the garage door last longer. more

Fast and reasonably priced 8/29/2012

When the spring on our garage door broke, I looked into doing it myself. While I think I could have done it, I decided it wasn't worth my trouble if I could get a professional to do it for a reasonable price. Alamo was there in less than 2 hours and had the job done in under an hour. It was well worth the cost because it probably would have taken me all day. more

Excellent, prompt service. 8/15/2012

We have used Alamo Door & Awning for a long time. He was just so accommodating, they always get out here real fast. My husband was thinking we were going to have to replace the whole door which would cost $1600-$1800, but they were able to fix the problem for under $200. They also programmed us new remote controls, they were efficient and saved us money. more

I was very impressed by Derrick's experience. He answered all my questions in a satisfactory manner. Also, he left the necessary products and verbal instructions for lubricating the garage door. He placed an adhesive label on the garage wall with info. for any future contacts and the next maintenence date. more

Alamo did a great job. They were fast to diagnose the problem, told me what it would cost to repair, and then completed the repairs quickly. My garage door has never opened so easily and quietly! The technician was very courteous and knowledgeable. I will gladly call them again in the future if I have problems with my garage door! more

Excellent work! 7/17/2012

We heard a real loud pop, and we found out the spring had popped. I was concerned about not being able to get out of the garage if there was an emergency. Derek from Alamo Door & Awning was kind enough to walk us through step by step if we had an emergency. He called us back, and this was Sunday when this happened. He told us he really didn't want us to pay the call service fee, so we waited until the morning. Everything he could do for us, he did. He was very matter-of-factly and focused, and did the work. That was kind of strange, because usually they're a bit friendly, but he did excellent work so I can't complain! more
