Extremely professional, clean and friendly... Tha's what define best a good brazilian salon. I am Brazilian living in NYC for the past 6 years. First thing that I used todo when I would go to Brazil was to rush to a salon because I can't stand the salons here in NYC. Now I don't crave a brazilian salon anymore... =) I hate doing my nails anywhere else in NYC. Because americans don't mind the quick, weak and sloppy work done by 99% manicurists here in NYC. THIS IS WHAT A BRAZILIAN MANICURE MEANS GIRLS, so if you don't know or never had it done you will know what to expect: 1- THEY WILL REALLY CLEAN YOUR NAILS' CORNERS (remove CUTICULES, LOSE SKIN, ETC.); 2- THEY WILL REALLY PAINT YOUR NAILS (NO CORNERS LEFT UNPAINTED JUST BECAUSE OF LAZYNESS)... IT may seem they are sloppy at first but relax, they know what they are doing... they paint the entire nail (even the tiny corners where is normally hard to reach) then remove the excess with a cotton ... 3- Because they paint the ENTIRE nail, your manicure/pedicure will last much longer than a regular one, 4 - Always ask for how you want you nails to be filled or cut, otherwise the manicurist will do what matches best with the base of your fingernails or entire hand (depending on length of nails, fingers, your personal style, etc. 5 - It may take a little longer than usual, because they are pretty perfectionist and detailed oriented... I particularly rather have a manicure that lasts 40 min than one that lasts 20 and is sloppy... I FEEL LIKE I AM IN HEAVEN... I FOUND A BRAZILIAN BEAUTY FOUNTAIN IN NYC. Once you get used to this, you most likely will not settle for anything else
