A girlfriend and I were traveling through Kingdom City on a massive road trip from Jacksonville to Vancouver. We had a bag full of items we needed to send home immediately. We rushed to to the post office to arrive before the 9:30am Saturday closing time and arrived at 9:20am on April 3, 2010, with 10 minutes left until closing. The lady working behind the counter took one look at us and told us we had to leave because she had "things to do." My girlfriend's parents both work for the USPS and she knew that it is against the law for her to refuse us service during working hours. She told the employee as much but the lady just gave us a blank stare and repeated that she had "things to do." This employee was not doing her job and because this was a Saturday, we had to wait until Monday to mail our items and they arrived late. This was an unacceptable situation.
