Businiess name:  Tom's Professional Painting Services

Review content:
Hired Tom and his son Joey to paint our kitchen cabinets. Our house is less than 5 years old so our cabinets were extremely nice, but they were brown and I wanted them white. Tom stated he had 40 years experience and stated that he would provide two coats of primer, sanding in between and then two coats of finish coat. He also stated the job would take 3-7 days to complete. He took the cabinets back to his house to work on and 3 weeks passed and he still hadn't returned them. Had to take him to small claims court to get a judge to order him to return them. Within days of putting the doors back up in my kitchen the paint was peeling and coming off in large chunks. I have had multiple contractors come in to quote me on repairing the bad paint job I received and two of them refuse to take the job because they said the doors are ruined due to the paint used and the third was a quote for new doors. It is going to cost me $6000 for new doors. Tom is dishonest and I trust worthy. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for an actual painter that has insurance. I promise you won't regret your decision!
