Review content:
The Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Santa Monica is a good choice if you want to stay at a nice hotel and not pay the extremely high prices of the other hotels right on the beach. It is a short walk to the beach, promenade and various restaurants. Thepool and hot tub are not glamorous, but they do the the job. The Starbucks in the lobby is perfect for that morning dose of caffeine. I was surprised by the high quality of food from room service.
