This is a 5 star review of my experience with Calvin’s Transmission Shop on Nebraska St in Tampa, Florida. Thanks to Calvin, Greg and also Calvin Jr. \r

It was August 2013 and my car started kicking and bumping. I have a 2000 Mazda 626. I was concerned that the transmission was acting up. \r
I stopped by Calvin’s Transmission shop to have them check it out and I met a gentleman named Greg. He assured me that they could get to the bottom of the problem and give an accurate quote. \r
I left my car with Greg and in a day he had my estimate. I needed a full transmission rebuild. I got 3 additional price quotes. Calvin’s Transmission was the best price but I was concerned about their ability to do a good job obviously. \r
I ended up going with Calvin’s Transmission. I discovered that Calvin, the owner is a master at repairing transmissions and Greg is a master at diagnosing the exact problem with the transmission and he is also very good with customer relations and people skills. Together they make a great team. \r
My car is now repaired and I have been driving it for 3 weeks on and off the freeway and it is like a new car. I highly recommend Calvin’s transmission for your transmission needs. If you need a full rebuilt transmission it will not be cheap but they will be the best price in S. Tampa and they know what they are doing. \r
