In May 2013 I went to Dr. Crane to have two dark spots removed from the calf area of my right leg. Both marks were half the size of the head of a penny. I went to Dr. Crane for something that would fade the marks. However, he suggested a freeze treatment for both marks---something I never had done before. I was not well informed of the side effects, nor was I told what the healing process would look or feel like. This type of care was careless and reckless. The treatment severely scared and irritated my skin and as of today, my leg looks horrible. I have four dark scars on my leg that are 10x worse than the two marks I went to the office with. I have been using shea butter to heal the marks and I am now using a fade cream to remove the scaring. This is a perfect example of why I should have just done my research on fade creams instead of going to a provider with TV commercials who SEEMS like a professional, but just another provider trying to make money. The marks blistered and burst while leaving horrible scars on my leg. I was told this is a normal part of the process, the severe scars on my legs say otherwise. Not only was the care I received from Dr. Crane horrible, but the office staff is THE WORST! I The women who work at the front desk are rude, rude, rude...and did I say rude! $5.00 per page. I immediately called the NC Medical Board while in the office to confirm this. Of course, this was false. This is just a horrible place to go for dermatology service.
