We used this hotel for our wedding block and our honeymoon suite Chris Atkins at the Marriott was very helpful and we received a GREAT rate ($69/night). The hotel is beautiful and they have a really nice restaurant in the lobby, as well. I didnโt hear about any problems anyone had, and they kept the bar open late for everyone to come back after the wedding. The only other thing that bugged me a little was they wouldnโt give us our suite for free after we brought them a ton of business, but oh well! I will say they provided GREAT stuff for the guest bags - water, sunscreen, lip balm & Mountain Man Trail Mix. If youโre getting married in the Tech Center or down south I would highly recommend using this hotel.

This is a small agency that specializes in cruises and Mexico and Hawaii packages. The agents have a lot of first hand knowledge of what they sell. They are very helpful and willing to answer any and all questions. There are packages for every budget and they treat you the same no matter what you buy. The customer service is excellent.

While I love the Big Tool Box, I wasnโt too impressed with their rental department. They do have a great selection of tools to rent, as well as moving trucks. But I find the staff in the rental department to be not quite as helpful as I would like. I have rented moving trucks from here two times (mostly because they offer great prices and I donโt like my other rental options in the area). Both times, the staff wasnโt that friendly and the guy kind of made it seem like a chores to get off his chair and take my reservation.
But, their prices are good, their trucks are reliable, and I have never had any issues with my reservation not being kept โ so I will return to them in the future for my rental needs.
Just donโt be expect to be blown away by their customer service.

My parents, ever the penny-pinchers, used to always get gas at a station and convenience store called My Mart, located on Kipling a little south of Quincy. This station always had the cheapest gas around (or was tied with another cheap station nearby). When I first got my car, I got gas there a lot too. Eventually I realized that their gas actually meant poorer mileage for my car, and I started getting mid-grade at some of the better-quality gas stations. Although itโs nothing about the owners of My Mart, who are very friendly and run an excellent ethnic food stand inside the convenience store, I can tell you that the difference in my gas mileage is nearly 100 miles per tank! Itโs NOT always worth it to save a couple of pennies in gas.
