We went to Fat City for the first time last week (08-05). This is the place we will be sure to budget time for on every future trip to Denver, and it will be the second place I will recommend to visitors (Casa Bonita being No. 1). Fat City has SO much to do that visitors should plan for a full day there. They have bumper cars, bowling, mini golf, a twister ride, roller skating, laser tag, a great foam factory, food, drinks, and a gigantic arcade. The employees are helpful and friendly, and the entire facility is very well maintained. The only drawback is the noise level, but you get used to it after a short time, and the fun is worth the noise! Check their specials before planning your trip; they have different ones for almost every day.
Pros: Good specials, Huge arcade, Helpful employees
Cons: Noise

This place will keep your kids hopping for some time - plan to spend the better part of the day and don't plan on having a conversation.
Bowling, laser tag, roller skating, arcade, putt-putt, and this HUGE play structure. My kids really enjoy this place but bring your earplugs because you will go deaf...

The AMC 24 in Highlands Ranch is my absolute favorite theater to see movies at. I love the huge screens, and I love the many different movies to choose from. Also, being rather short, I like that there is enough of a step up between rows of seats that I never have to worry about having someone’s head blocking my view; to make the seats even more comfortable, the armrests fold back, so that you can snuggle with your date (or block them off by folding the armrest back down, if you want). Almost every movie I see, I see at that theater, so obviously I’d recommend it to any other movie-goer, as well!

We just moved to Westminster this year and enrolled our daughter in the pre-dance class at Belliston Centre of Dance. And we couldn't be happier! Our daughter has loved attending class, she has learned a lot and the teachers and staff are so friendly and caring. The spring program was so well planned and performed. I cannot wait to see my little dancer perform at Belliston next year! I highly, highly recommend this school!

During the warmer months, most of the shops in old Littleton participate in sidewalk sales on the weekends. During one of these sales, I browsed through the sidewalk display at the Andy Marquez Gallery. I was quite impressed with the artwork. The framed art is fantastic, but I was particularly attracted to a book of photographs of the “Old West,” which featured many remarkable black-and-white photos of still-standing artifacts of the Old West, such as buildings. The artwork in this gallery is well worth checking out!

I can remember the first movie I saw in the Bowles Crossing theater: THE LION KING, when I was probably about twelve. Back then, the theater was pretty new, so there was a lot of oohing and aahing when the heavy red velvet curtains closed and opened again for the previews. Of course, the theater isn’t as new now, and the seats are as comfortable as some of the newer theaters, but the classic styling of the theater is still fun to me.

The course was in terrific shape, well maintained and nice greens. However, it is a long haul from the city and there are quite a few tricked up holes ie. blind shots, par 4's where you have to hit iron off the tee because the fairway runs out. Overall, a decent course but not great value.

My daughter has attended Centerstage for 5 years for jazz. She has always loved the teachers and gets very excited about what she is learning. There is definite growth every year. They learn different moves, as well as the names for them. They have Company, for more serious dancers as well as recreational dance.

Bumble Bounce is a great place to play and have a party. They have 4 huge blow up bounce houses in a carpeted area, and even an little one for kids under two. If you want to do a birthday party there, they also have a party room. They are only open for parties on the weekend so it doesn't get overcrowded. The parties are kind of pricey unless you want to invite a large group (20+).

With the ever rising price of movies, Elvis Cinemas is a great find. They show recent movies (not the brand new releases, but ones that have been in the theaters for a little while) at a wonderful price. Their concession stand is also fully stocked and you will find that it is also much more reasonably priced than at a regular movie theater. The screens are smaller and the chairs are a little more uncomfortable than at the more modern theaters, but still very well worth the money.
