I recently celebrated my b-day at the Melting Pt. What a wonderful experience. My husband and I have opposite schedules he is a chef and I’m an elementary school teacher off for summer break. My husband had to work a closing shift on my birthday so he wanted to take me somewhere special for lunch. When he told me we were going to the Melting Pt I though he was crazy because I had no idea they even had lunch there. When we arrived I noticed their new patio. Although I was hesitant to sit outside because it was about noon in the middle of July but the hostess assured me that the umbrellas block out most of the sun/heat. She was right it was absolutely beautiful! The umbrellas provided so much shade and the ambiance of the patio was so serene. When we sat at our table I noticed the dozen roses my hubby ordered for me! They were so beautifully arranged and it was such a pleasant surprise.
The lunch menu was very well priced. I was surprised about the savings. Because we were on a time crunch we did the cheese salad and chocolate special (all of the best things). I have been to the Melting Pt before and it has always taken a bit of time, but our server (Marcus) was very accommodating to our schedule. He had us fed with time to spare. I even had time to enjoy a grand mariner with my chocolate.
It was absolutely a delightful b-day lunch and we were done in time for my hubby to get off to work. I got to take the dozen roses with me! So my husband was officially off the hook for having to work on my birthday.

This is a great date place, with valet parking and a dark quiet atmosphere. You feel like you are there with just your date. You usually can expect your visit to be about 2.5 hours. Because of their multiple courses. You start with an appetizer fondue and work your way to the main course with veggies and then after you have completely gorged yourself, they bring on the irresistible dessert. Great experience.

John Holly's is mine and my boyfriends absolute favorite restaurant. I seriously mistrust the validity of other poor reviews as we have never received anything but great service and delicious food, perfectly seasoned and prepared beautifully. Everything is so fresh and delicious!!! John Holly's has some of the best chefs out there. We know that any time we go we can pick anything on the menu and and it will be delicious. Not only is the food fantastic, but the prices are very reasonable. And the portions are HUGE, making the value even better. Every time we eat there, we leave with leftovers from each dish which often leaves us with 1 or 2 more meals. They also have a very good wine selection. We have never done delivery or take out with John Holly's so I can't comment on the portions with that service. We we always highly recommend John Holly's and continue to be satisfied customers. We're actually taking some friends and family there tonight! We love you John Holly's!!!

Finally after long wait Santoros in Littleton is open! The ownership hasn't changed and the food is excellent. It's hard to find a place close to the family friendly atmosphere that Santoro's has in the area. Among the the new Southbridge shopping center where the new Safeway food store is, there is finally more life to the shopping center. Chef Mario is over there and has brought his recipes from Italy and brings in a fun atmosphere to this restaurant. The owners are very friendly and just are a pleasure to talk with all of the time. Really looking forward to visiting more since it's closer to home for me. Rock on Santoro's!!!!!!

I’ve tried many, many pizza places and Big Bill’s is an INSTITUTION! We are a family from NJ and this is the closest you get to NY style in CO. Get NO OR 1 topping on your pizza!! Good NY style pizza is less about toppings, more about crust, cheese and sauce. If you get a lot of toppings, it tastes only a little better than the other Mom and Pop pizza places around town. I recommend getting meatball for your 1 topping. This place does get busy if you go during peak lunch or dinner times. If your service is slower, it’s when they are slammed, not because they are slacking.
Pros: Awesome pizza
Cons: Need more beer & cocktails, no delivery

I don't know when the last reviewer was there, but I have had a great time every single time that I've gone to TREO. The Chef, the bartenders and the food has been great on the numerous occassions that I have been there. We have tried several of the appitizers, the burgers, and sandwiches and they have been great! I was there for their New Years Eve 2009 celebration as well....and I must say my friends and I had a BLAST!!!! We had bottle service that night and our waitress was very attentive and went out of her way to get things for us, even getting us a little late night snack!! (Their pizza is really good) I know that there has been a lot of change going on but even with that, we've always had a great time. My friends and I will continue to go here and I will recommend it to other friends as well.
Pros: Great lounge (newly redecorated), Fun weekend environment, Tasty Food, Attentive Staff

Hands down my favorite place for Thai food in Denver. Yummy! The menu has plenty to offer and the wait staff are careful to make sure the thai spice is right for you. Although the dining area is not overly attractive, the friendly and attentive staff more than make up for it in your dining experience. We often phone in take out and have never had a problem with out order.
I also wish it wasn't closed on Sundays. Oh well!
