Businiess name:  Grand Street Cafe

Review content:
There was a time when my wife and I used to go to Grand St. Cafe at least once a month. We loved to sit at their bar, have a cocktail and appetizer and frequently wound up having dinner as well. In fact, one of our most memorable anniversary meals (August) was spent dining out on their lovely patio. But, for whatever reason, it had been a number of years since we were there...until last Saturday night.\r \r Some friends suggested it, made a reservation and we didn't feel like being party poopers so we went along. Now we are glad we did. It won't be so long before we get back again. Nothing much has changed from an ambience standpoint....it's still big and yet cozy and the same time. The food was quite good. Salad was crisp (Caesar) and a decent portion. I had a halibut special that was quite enjoyable...came with a unique potato and lentil polenta...very enjoyable. Dessert was unique and tasty as well...and our table tried 4 different ones....all enjoyed.\r \r So we went by default...but we will return with pleasure. And it won't be so long next time! Pros: Ambience, Unique menu combinations Cons: Wine list is extensive...but not inexpensive
