Taste: 4.5 Rich and creamy. The yogurt is simple yet so good by itself that I prefer not to complicate it with toppings.
Flavor Selection: 3 They’re always going to have something you like. Their “always” flavors are chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter and berry. Additionally, they have monthly flavors like pumpkin pie, island coconut, cake batter, and coffee. The number of flavors and the selection vary from location to location. They keep the flavors simple and don’t change them all too often, but a good selection nonetheless.
Good for you?: 4 I base whether something is good for you on two factors- on a caloric level and then on how natural it is. Golden Spoon is a winner on both accounts. They use very few ingredients and those they do use are all natural.
Overall: 4 Great tasting yogurt with many locations in Orange County. Not as fancy as some of the other newer yogurt stores, but how important is that really? When you think about going to get “ice cream” with the whole family on a warm summer night, this is the type of place you think of.
