Review content:
We were looking for a sushi place for my 42nd B-Day and came across Kai on the internet. We read about their all you can eat special and thought we would give it a try. When we got there on a Friday night, we were told the special was only on Monday's. We decided to order one rainbow roll (my son's fav) and then go to a sushi buffet. Instead of turning us away, Ted, one of the owners and chefs asked us if this was our first time there. We (My wife, 7 year old son, and myself) said, Yes, this was our first time. As he handed us our rainbow roll, he asked us if we would like the all you can eat special. We couldn't believe it, but of course said, ""YES!"" What we got was above and beyond. Ted, after finding out it was not only our first time in Kai, but my B-Day as well, gave us special dish after special dish. The rolls were to die for and the hamachi was like butter. He even gave my son a spider roll, though that was not in the all you can eat special. With service and food like that, we will certainly be back...and soon. We found our Sushi Bar in Tustin, care to join us? Pros: Everyone treated like an old friend. Cons: Didn't find it sooner!!!!!
