I am new to town and was undecided on where to go for a much needed hair cut and color. Everything is sooo overpriced at a lot of salons and I was not about to pay a fortune for something I didnt like. I came across Alter Ego by chance and am incredibily glad I did! I was able to book my appointment on line (very quick and easy) and from the minute I got off the elevator I felt very welcome. I was making a big change from long to short hair (I took about 10 inches off-never been that short!) and my stylist, Hannah, was great. She talked me through everything and it turned out fabulous!! I couldn't be any happier with the way it turned out. All of the other staff that was there was also very friendly and always smiled and said hello as they walked by (which you often don't get a lot of high end places). The front desk (Shawn) was also great! Not pushy with product sales and made sure I didn't forget anything. I would recommend Alter Ego to anyone looking the benefits and results of a top salon without the prices and snotty attitudes!
Pros: Staff, internet booking, price, pretty much everything!
Cons: trying to find parking downtown
