Believe it or not, I went here after reading a horrific review in a local weekly... but my boss wanted to go and I have to tell you: I HAD A GREAT TIME. I am a borne and breed Philadelphian, so I have always had a love/hate thing for this place, but in all honesty, they have really done a nice job this time around. I ate at the bar, had the snapper soup, which was excellent, and the tuna tartare app. My boss, of course, had a NY strip, which we were a bit hesistant to order, but when it arrived, we were pleasantly surprised: cooked perfectly medium-rare, it looked and tasted great; on par with the Capital Grille. The place was busy for a Monday night (full), bartender was exceptionally friendly and funny, and I noticed the owner walking around, talking to the tables. An enjoyable experience.
