Review content:
I had to take my cat in to Friendship at 5:30am on a Friday following a seizure. The staff, the doctors, the technicians - everyone was wonderful. She had to say overnight, which was good as she had a second seizure during that afternoon - while I was on the phone with the doctor no less. The doctor called me three times to update me and when she called, she spent all the time I needed with me and I didn't get the sense she was trying to rush off. Of particular importance to me, that evening I was able to go over to the hospital and sit and hold my cat. There was no hassle, I just showed up and said I wanted to see my cat. After a very short wait, I was taken to the back and got her out of the kennel were she was resting (quite happily). I was there with her for over an hour. I sat in the back area where the kennels are and where the animals were being treated. I left feeling much better about where I was leaving my cat - the technicians clearly cared about the animals, they were treated well - including a couple of very large and unhappy dogs. The technicians regularly took the dogs out for walks and went around and took care of the cats. No, this is not a cheap place, but it is open 24 hours and I felt like they took excellent care of my cat (and me), and is well worth it.
