Businiess name:  Harvey, David A, Md - Fremont Family Practice
Review by:  Isaac L.
Review content:
Dr. Harvey has been my primary physician for over six years. He's also been the focal point for my care team managing specialty care (endocrinology for diabetes, cardiology for checkups, etc) and has also worked with my surgeon when my gall bladder had to come out ensuring that all records were copied back and forth and labs were maintained/updated consistently between his office and the surgeons so everyone had the most current information. This is really critical for a diabetic patient and he's done a great job of staying on top of it. I travel extensively, including overseas and his office has been great at facilitating prescription requests when I'm out of town and insuring I could get drugs refilled when my stay went longer than I expected. They've also been able to promptly get records requests to out of state providers so I can maintain continuity of care. Though I moved north of the city two years ago I still drive back to this clinic as it's hard to find a Dr. that will take the time to actually know the patient and participate with their care vs. just dictating it or delegating it off to a PA.
