My daughter's favorite: the pastrami & swiss on grilled rye..... is an incredible sandwich......only the Carnegie or Stage Deli is better....and you have to fly to New York.......
My biggest problem with Max's: the pastrami or the "#6" (turkey, avocado, etc......on ciabatta) is soooooo good, we haven't tried any other sandwiches on the menu.
Too bad "Max's" is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.....
Pros: tasty sandwiches, reasonable prices, great service
Cons: small restaurant is overcrowded at rush hour (noon to 1 pm). Closed Sat & Sun
