Willie's used to be a GREAT restaurant. The seafood pasta was to die for. So, we decided, lets go back now that it is re-opened. I guess I made a mistake. The pasta that I once loved had most of the same ingredients, shrimp, a crab claw, crawfish, and scallops, in a red sauce. But, someone does not know how to cook pasta. It was lumped together, hard in parts, and pasty. They called it linguini, but it was definitely fettuccini noodles. My husband had the crawfish scampi. It was passable, but had not very flavorful.
I will say, the saving grace of Willie's is the all you can eat things on Tues, Wed, and Thurs night. There are 6 items you can choose from, and you can get to choose 2 at a time. Lots of families take bottomless teenagers there and they do get full.
I didn't like the new and improved Willie's. When it was Fat Willie's, the food was better. Now, I just don't have the inclination to go to a restaurant which doesn't match up to its old self. Sorry, this one is just OK.
